I think if you add -ai at the end of your search query in Google, it will not bring up AI answers. I recently switched to using Firefox as my default search engine as you can switch off AI.

I've not been reading/posting much lately (dealing with family stuff) however I'm now having a privacy notice popping up non-stop, didn't happen previously and it's driving me mad! Can anyone help me fix it please? It's appearing on every page I read and multiple times when I scroll down to read posts. I click on 'REJECT ALL' then 'SAVE & EXIT' but to no avail.

I’ve had this a few times and usually get rid of it by deleting my history before logging in again or clearing cookies in settings. This might also be useful

Big comic book fan here. Supergirl is actually like that in the comics so they’re making her comic book accurate. She was supposed to protect baby kal el (superman) when they were sent to earth, but he got here first and she ended up in the phantom some. By the time she got to earth as a teen, he was older than her, doing great and she was essentially defunct.
So her angsty teen self is why she is the way she is. She remembers krypton and how it was, whereas kal el doesn’t because he was a baby. She had to learn to love earth but she’d rather go get drunk somewhere with a red sun than accept her life.

I know she's been like that for a while? At least since like the 2010s or something? But the original pre-crisis Supergirl wasn't I don't think. She was just a copy of Superman but female, IIRC. Not really her own character. So I'm glad she got to evolve into her own person and in the comics it's probably interesting but with the movie there is the James Gunn of it all and I'm sooooo bored of James Gunn. I'll always love the Guardians movies but he can't seem to do any other kind of character.

I mean sorry to be scathing but that's a bit tenuous, tbh I respect anyone, men and women, who set out to give back to their local community especially through things like the church, community hall, scouts, girls guide etc. Too many people these days just can't be arsed.

I think community activities for boys have suffered a lot from an overly paranoid attitude, especially working class boys, where there used to be the youth club and the sunday five-a-side, now there's nothing and working class boys consistently score the worst for mental health, educational attainment, etc.
