I do all our cards for the post but he does all the friends and neighbours cards- I leave them out for him and he walks them all round. He's pretty good really, if he's in first, the dinner will go on ,washing up done , beds etc so I can't complain but yes I can as he leaves his clothes everywhere so I go a over tit on them ( shoes are the worst - even in the bathroom !)
Genuinely what do the staff think? That once Falkner is gone they'll be able to change the guidance to somehow be more TRA, the guidance doesn't matter if it doesn't reflect the actual law as clarified in the FWS judgment.

Another Guardian one, just basically a summary of whats happened since the FWS judgment in April but what struck me from reading this was when they talk about other legal cases since they reference Victoria McCloud trying to pursue a case at the ECHR, also Sandie Peggies case and both are hyperlinked to Guardian coverage, even though McClouds case hasn't even been approved for ECHR consideration but they mention Darlington nurses but have no hyperlink, just checked and they haven't covered Darlington at all (except for a mention in an opinion piece by Sonia Sodha in February)

There is a boy in my son's high school who is trans and decided he was a girl after his parents divorce. We strongly feel that being trabs is his coping mechanism after being traumatised by their split which by all accounts was quite toxic
I feel so sorry for teenagers at the moment. They don't know what to do and a few of them have turned absolutely feral because they feel there is no future for them, no point, nothing to work hard for, especially working class boys.
Literally can’t keep up with these threads now at all but yesterday I was out with my husband and toddler and in a cafe heard a man saying to his female companion saying something like “Have you seen the stuff about trans rights?” so my ears pricked up. I couldn’t hear her responses but he said he’d been reading a Guardian article about everything that had happened since the FWS judgement in April and I was thinking “Oooooh he knows about FWS, maybe he’s sensible?”
Quickly disillusioned when he said “It’s not a scientific question of what a woman is, but a social one” and then he said about them being in women’s toilets and basically said something like “My understanding is the women’s toilets are just cubicles with sinks so they’re private and men wouldn’t see anything”.
Had to leave the cafe before I started fighting him. I wanted to say “It’s not just women’s toilets though, it’s women’s prisons that are housing male criminals including rapists, women’s single sex services like grape crisis centres. And also you’re a man lol so maybe sit this one out?”
My husband could see how pissed off I was getting so let me rant to him as soon as we were out the cafe!

All the handmaidens at the EHRC need put their big girl pants on, face facts and get the job done. Oh to be a fly on the wall while they scrabble around trying to find a way to appease the trans wingers and implement the law - it is just not possible.
