Aoife is worse imo. Gemma is in her earlier 20s. I study psychology and can tell you that the trauma carried from youth clings onto you. I would reckon Gemma has BPD, add smoking weed, taking drugs and years of being GROOMED by Richie into it and I think she's hit a breaking point. She's clesrly not well. What sort of mother REVELS in a young girl getting chased into traffic by people with a golf club? Aoife brags about having her degree and life together when Gemma is being pushed toward suicide. She is clearly in the midst of a psychotic episode and its just being used as entertainment now. It's really sad but no one involved seems in anyway clued in enough to see that. Just selfish people attacking a young girl who was groomed, taken advantage of and as a result has become this. She needs inpatient treatment and Aoife needs to focus on herself.

Just catching up, I have BPD and while that might make me emotionally immature at times I dont act out to the extremes she does and I'm not medicated or going to counselling either. I'm sorry to be a bleeping downer for you but at the end of the day, if that girl had serious mental health issues she would be saying it left right and cente to get out of the charges because trust me a mental health disorder holds standing in court, I've had to do it. Also a big part of BPD is fear of being abandoned, Gemma isn't displaying thatyeah she's staying in a toxic relationship but it has ended more than once and she constantly keeps at him till he gets back with her even though we've seen people try tell her to stay away. With me I'll do anything to stop someone from leaving, but if they do leave, even once, they've abandoned me and I can't forgive it it's just plain black and white to me that they shouldn't be in your life no matter how much I want them in it I was with a guy who bate me around for the better part of 2 years, spent 3 years with him and I never left but see when I got hurt so bad I was in hospital and he was out with another girl telling me he was done he was texting me 3 weeks later saying he was sorry he wanted another chance and it wasn't even over hitting me I didn't want him it was the fact he abandoned me when I was hurt and needed him

Do you understand what a fear of abandonment is? She displays it. I'm qualified and I'm telling you this. I also have a diagnosis of an anxiety disorder and it presents differently as it is subjective to the individual.

I'm sorry you've been through all of that, it sounds really horrible and it's great you've come out the other end you should be very proud but you have your diagnoses, you know your triggers and you are over coming it. You can develop a personality disorder. And you're right, the 8 years of being with a drug dealer would definitely ensure you got everything handed to you. She doesn't live in the real world and neither does Richie. But someone who posts pictures of stairs saying she is going live to hang herself, takes chase like that from the garda, voice messages children and airs all she does just for attention is extremely unwell. I'm not taking away from the extremities of your situation but her environment is different to yours so things manifest differently.

You're right that mental illness isn't an excuse for tit behaviour but the girl needs help.

I'll be the first one to admit I've a boring life now, I try keep my head down and away from trouble while I try get help, but that's literally my reason for being so invested in all of this when in reality it's nothing to do with me it's a distraction to keep me busy, and honestly I have no problem with you whatsoever, I actually follow you myself and think you seem genuinely a lovely girl just maybe under pressure with everything going on and trying to not let it show but it's okay everyone gets under pressure. Unfortunately I do, and while she might be codependent on Richie, and might be afraid of what life will be like without him after spending so long with him, she doesn't display a fear of abandonment to me she literally videod herself drugging him, laughing about it and posted it publicly not to mention everything else she's said about him? If your afraid someone's going to abandon you, you literally do anything you think will make them happy, not shame them all over a public platform then try alienate him from his life, his dealers, his friends by ruining his reputation? That's trying to hurt someone not make sure they dont leave.
Suicidal tendencies are a trait I agree but not like that. That was a cry for attention not even help, she wanted people to be looking at her story and I'm not even sorry for saying this. I've tried to kill myself more times than I can count and even the times I never really wanted to but at the same time I did (BPD is so hard to explain at times but if you wanna look up the term 'splitting' you might understand) I'd text someone close that I know would come out to talk me down or ring someone then there's the times I've been hospitalized cause I did want to do it. You will not go on a live stream with thousands of followers who know where you live and do something like that, its found too quickly its reported, and anybody who thought she was genuine serious around her would have sectioned her, the guards could have even done it if they wanted but they probably even knew it was a cry for attention nothing more. I'm not denying something might be wrong mentally, but it's not BPD, and she definitely knows what she's doing. Seems more like a narcissist personally

Just wanted to check and make sure, but yep, even though you only need 5 traits to clinically qualify as NPD (Narcissist personality disorder) I'm pretty sure she meets all 9.

Look we are two people looking in from two perspectives. One from education and one from personal experience which is fair and she could have npd but i feel she fits the crieria for the 9 symptoms of bpd but the bottom line is there is definitely a personality disorder of some form thas has manifested. We don't know her personally, we don't know the full story. From the outside looking in its a young girl who's life is being ruined and yes, it is her own doing you are right. It started off as funny but the longer it's gone on it's just getting bleaker and i hope she gets the help she needs.
