Her Dad was in and out of hospital quicker than the queue at Tesco. No wonder she’s gone awol.

I am sure her Dad was ill, but I doubt it was Covid. He probably had the ‘flu or something similar.

Gemma, however, would dress it up as Covid to garner sympathy and attention.

I don't believe the government are paying them. However it is absolutely believable that these celebs are making it up for attention. I mean I never believed for one second Gemma accidentally fell through the stage or tripped on dancing on ice. Even Bobbie and some of his bullying stories are suspect

Unfortunately this Hugo guy isn't a reliable or sensible source so its hard for him to be taken seriously. However I do think he has exposed a badly organised PR stunt.

Yea I don't know what to make of it. Coronavirus is real, it kills our most vulnerable so his phrasing "paid to promote" is odd. But I think he just didn't choose his words carefully enough. Perhaps "paid" (if they where, I dunno) to highlight it would have been better. But it still begs the question how the GC managed to enter a covid ward and share inappropriate selfies with health care workers and the doctors new instagram page. Lot of questions and honestly I don't even know how to start processing it all. I think Gemma is another Katie Price and thrives on controversy with the help of the tabloids.

I've heard firsthand from a friend that she charges people (including my friend) for a selfie/autograph.

She is very spoilt, don't ask why but I watched "Gemma Collins in therapy", and you can totally see where she gets her righteous spoilt attitude from.

I like Gemma. I think she'd be great craic as a friend. She is a bit deluded, but what harm. I suffer from depression and have a very low opinion of myself. I care way too much how people perceive me. Fair play to her for having such self belief. Even with the amount of people who run her down for her weight, she keeps getting out there.
