He made some sort of comment to her like "why dont you come and sit down you might as well" but it seemed really snarky and unnecessary

He said do you want to sit here (emphasising his seat) and said you might as well. Not funny, not nice. She was doing her job. She probably didn’t want to be plastered all over the internet either, but got on with it.

What a lovely guy who runs that home based take away was Gary had a bit of a cheek though setting up that bloody table in his garden and asking for a plate too

I think it’s a complete cheek of him to turn up like that full stop! The guy handled it well. I think it’s outrageous, turn up, with camera man, proceed to set up your own dining room in his garden and critique everything to blast over the internet. Could see the bloke come out his door at one point looking at them, like , what’s going on. I felt sorry for the guy involved,

Fair few comments in that video calling him out ,saying he got a full refund as he’s sitting there with his mic and a camera man.. Joe Public wouldn’t get that. He’s adamant no one knows who he is or what he was doing there.

Only watched cos of what was said on here. Haven’t looked since his shaggy/scooby doo disguise .he is going on about the steak, mash,onion rings, spills pepper sauce on the tablecloth…he didn’t want to do that he says ….really… says not worth the money, ridiculous.. Then Manager comes over and he looked liked he was going to wet himself. Says steak needs rested and everything else was fine 🫢perfect. Stans in comments saying he’s so polite and British about complaining… why can’t people see through this

This just reminded me he's done it a few times now and its so cringey. Peoples struggles are not your content. Good for you if you're in a position to help and do so but you definitely dont need to show off your saviourism and as has been mentioned a few times 'ambush' people

I always get the ick when people film themselves giving money or food to homeless people or people struggling financially as if to say "look at me, I'm being charitable." Ever since Gary has teamed up with Danny his content has been dire.

When is he giving up his channel - he reckoned he was stopping it awhile ago.Although it would mean a huge loss of income for him and his son if he did so can't really see that happening.
I don't watch him much now rather watch Greeno although he is maddening with constantly pushing his glasses back up and that laugh were he puts his tongue between his teeth gives me the ick.

It was a very odd video, cos he seemed to be linking the alleged public assaults to the videos he does, even though from what he described there was no link whatsoever, he just happened to encounter some unpleasant people throughout the course of his day, then claimed it was all because he's a 'carer' for his elderly mother. How he made that link is a mystery.

His latest tour de farce at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant really highlighted a growing trend between him and Danny. They’re preconceiving the results of their “reviews” and this one really showed it off. He went for a “redemption arc” approach, made a point to show that an egg was overcooked and then when it happened again (after he said he wanted to do it straight away so no excuses) he then started making excuses because it didn’t fit the vibe he wanted the video to have.

It’s so much fun when he starts flapping and lying on the spot, he’s a bit of a dullard so he’s not very good at it. Then in the outro he feels the need to tell us again why the egg situation was totally different this time. Multiple takes, photography etc etc. Yet he said he did it right away and then decided it was fine? Which is it Gareth? One wonders if the management team has suggested a good review to keep doors open.

also this brain dead independent businesses thing is a load of hogswash. It’s a pre-built excuse for praising medicore businesses for other motives. Danny had a phase on rate my takeaway of going to dodgy independents that all looked the same, reeking of money laundering. (Who has the money to have full shop fits as an small operation? And they all had pictures of the joker and Tommy Shelby looked like a teenagers bedroom)

Danny came out and said that paid reviews had taken place at RMT, is it still going on?

Gary Lies has started pre-reviewing and dumping googled info on food before he even puts it in his mouth. Usually when there’s someone else on screen. Can’t let someone else have a say.

His behaviour with Si King was insane, what is actually wrong with him. Bit of respect for someone who has actually achieved something, but can’t have that because it highlights how low-brow he really is.

Lastly, jalapeno is pronounced with a H not as its written. Food expert btw

Not just Si, I was literally staggered with how he acted with Aktar, joking around about his michelin stars etc like someone said earlier genuinely giving the vibe that he thought he was better than one of the widley regarded (also by other chefs) as one of the best chefs in the country. Literally mind blown, not to mention just generally acting a tit in one of the best restaurants in the country. Loved when Aktar blamed garys pallet when he was trying to joke around (for the however manyth time) about not liking what theyd reccomended) you can really tell they all think he's a clown.

And on the topic of his segment with Si you could feel Si didnt really want to be there, there was a blink and youll miss it bit where he gave gary a 'what the fuck is this guy doing' look when he pretended to pass out behind him.

Place he went with whats his name and greeno looked genuinely god awful duck looked like the sole of an old boot.
Even Hannah said the place she took him wasnt very good which was baffling given it was her reccomendation (maybe just wrong food for the weather?)
And ive already said what you can tell the Fallow guys think of him.

it felt very rambling and odd. Like his made up examples didn't even seem real? And he went on a rant about how many YouTuber mates he has, as you say his supermarket of choice, odd drop in by a Gary fan.

Exactly - why would anyone have a problem that he shopped in Waitrose when it's clear that he's making money from YouTube and his channel is all about spending money on eating out

I watched it half asleep, if I remember correctly, someone was aggrieved he was shopping at Waitrose and it wasn’t a shop he was just getting few things, naming off bread, milk, a ready meal (for his mum)..What difference does it make think he also said when he was being harassed people got their phones out to film, and he was uncomfortable, the irony… also at the end he says if it happens again, he’s going to film them and put it online ..err…
