He is inoffensive but I automatically flinch at very obvious posh boys speaking as if they're from 'the hood' - his constant use of 'bruv' is a particular irritant. Some of his videos can be overly long, too - 20 minutes tops is more than enough but 40+ and I'm definitely not watching!

that's fair I can forgive the colloquialisms personally and dont mind longer videos if the contents good, he churns out alot so can choose a length im in the mood for should i start watching him

He's probably joined the same agency as Hannah Ricketts.
She's also gone down the same rage bait route with the hotel reviews.
It might explain those strange London vlogs where they all met up.
It pays well until he gets bopped.

I did wonder if it was an agency behind it but beyond me what good reason he'd have for joining one, cant imagine they'd do much for him than he already does, potentially how he got the book deal? Hannah however I can see being the sort of person to think its the done thing and going down that route

Whilst it's not exactly a polite comment, it is worlds away from 'abuse'. Gary's response here is symptomatic of the current trend of online hyperbole that devalues language and meaning eg impolite = abuse, disagreement = hate, right of centre = fascist etc

He honestly knows very little about food apart from experience eating at a lot of places. I've only really discovered him via Danny the idiot, and at least Danny doesn't make out he knows anything about food apart from liking eating it. I notice he mainly just lets Danny speak, and then has absolutely zero to add to the conversation. It's all "quality ingredients", "a good cut of beef", or "expertly cooked". I have no idea how he got popular apart from a load of gammons following him.

And yes, @ChickenLicking is right: you can't be a main carer and be out as much as he is scoffing his face.

'told to stop filming' me: ' uh huh... lets see' at no point was he told to stop filming, so that was a lie. Clearly didn't call ahead to check if filming is okay which even the most basic of food reviewers do these days and I'm almost certain in past videos before this clickbait shit he's said that he has in fact done so himself. What a mug. closed the tab right after seeing all that. Just reinforcing why I've not watched any of his stuff for nearly a month now

I was curious what the whole wig thing was about, did anyone else feel like he seemed to be acting more than usual? despite saying he paid it had massive paid review vibes, not just his demeanour but also the pop ups with the price, image of the food, and most sus of all the restaurants brand/logo... also a shorter video than usual which gives me the thought thats what was paid for...

That's what I thought too, this is the reason why I started this channel. He's now a complete knob and the content of this rage bait vid is utter codswallop.

he's struck me as rude to alot of the wait staff but maybe thats just his mannerisms or potentially awkwardness (if i were giving him the benefit of the doubt). He seems to be far too focused on interacting with the camera and the viewer than the staff and trying to be a presenter, which if he didnt would probably come across as alot more natural and likable

He made some sort of comment to her like "why dont you come and sit down you might as well" but it seemed really snarky and unnecessary
