thats the rudest ive seen him be in comments, either the mask is slipping or being around danny is a terrible influence on him. And in reply to him 'the exact same way youve been doing it for years before your pal Danny started doing it?'

There's been a few times I've noticed the mask has slipped (that mush is a mask?? I'd ask for my money back) He gives me very bad vibes if you got on the wrong side of him. I think they should all get a proper job. The way he kisses a*** sometimes makes me feel bilious-and it's usually at places that I've been to that I wouldn't send my worst enemy to.

Agree, I felt the so called “rudest” chippy owner was put on the spot by him turning up. People commenting how great it was that Gary gave him a platform to say his side, and how helpful his advice was etc. I felt the bloke didn’t have a choice in it really. He was basically ambushed, if he didn’t speak to him , it would look bad, so had to go along with it. You can tell the bloke has enough to worry about. He should have just done the review, if he was so inclined and let it speak for itself, but of course there is no “drama” in that.

So I watched the Fallow segment of the video, they showed up 2 hours late and hammered to put up with him looked like they were taking their grandad out for a meal.

I learned from the video that not many of those people actually like Gary. Shocker. It was also glaringly obvious who knows about food and who doesn’t. Gary didn’t even know what a latke was. Shameful. He’s that ignorant dickhead who works in payroll and is known for not washing his hands after going to the loo.

I watched the whole video and I thought the whole thing was complete nonsense. He said someone is sending his mother abuse online (how?) and people in his hometown (which he's never publicly stated and we don't know where it is) followed him around Waitrose and shouted at him and said they'd 'do him'. He also said Danny from rate my takeaway went to someones workplace to confront someone who was allegedly sending him abuse online and said that was the right thing to do.

How do they know where he lives and what his name is-and his mums? Bless her-does his mum who he says is elderly and has dementia have access to online forums and YouTube and these people know who she is? If they did this then why on earth hasn't he reported this to the police as it's elder abuse. If it is true then it's coming from the direction of his hometown-or did he mention he'd been 'abused' in the 4 corners of the UK?

Just watched the first few minutes of Gary and Danny at the UKs most expensive fish and chips, honestly who falls for this shite. Danny spent the first 10 mins complaining about everything, it's HESTON BLUMENTHAL not a chippy tea up north FFS. I couldn't watch anymore, I've tried this dish at the Hinds Head and it was worth every penny. It's so lazy just to slag it off because it's expensive etc..

I'm catching up with it now. Why is he incapable of dressing or acting with any kind of decorum. He looks grimly AF. If I was in there I'd specifically ask to be seated apart from that pair of desperados. From The Slob to Grandad (in his cardigan) they'd literally spoil your meal.

So him indoors & I started to watch Gary's latest volg ,but turned it off after 5 minutes.
Never thought I would say I prefer Danny vs food vs Gary.
Danny has a better relationship with his camera man,maybe a reason why Gary's son/ camera gut doesn't what to be seen.
Danny gets straight to the point on the food reviews as he eats.

That's always been my problem with some of these food review types just waffling on talking about shit I don't care about. I have a simple mantra for them, just shut up, eat the food then tell me about it.

That video was embarrassing. Si King was speaking earnestly and knowledgeably about the food and the venue he'd chosen, meanwhile Gary is clearly not listening and acting the fool making stupid faces about drinking a negroni. Even my husband who is normally more forgiving of him than I am said it was glaringly obvious that for the bigger restauranty hitters, it was just respective management teams who'd got in touch with one another rather than Gary being great mates with them.
