i was saying to my mate the other day, it baffles me how channels like this still get so many views.. watching middle aged men reviewing chips is surely something that's had it's day.. they seem to be constantly on my feed even though i never watch them, i saw half of a video he made with Danny about pie and mash and i had to turn it off, the chemistry between them was so awkward, constantly talking over each other or making weird snidey comments, I think they think it comes across as "banter" ... but it doesn't...
Danny is another one that looks he's getting tired, he had his day during lockdown, but it's probably time to move on.
I reckon they become slaves to the algorithm, and youtube in general

She probably didn’t want to be plastered all over the internet either, but got on with it.He made some sort of comment to her like "why dont you come and sit down you might as well" but it seemed really snarky and unnecessary

I think it’s a complete cheek of him to turn up like that full stop! The guy handled it well. I think it’s outrageous, turn up, with camera man, proceed to set up your own dining room in his garden and critique everything to blast over the internet. Could see the bloke come out his door at one point looking at them, like , what’s going on. I felt sorry for the guy involved,What a lovely guy who runs that home based take away was Gary had a bit of a cheek though setting up that bloody table in his garden and asking for a plate too
This just reminded me he's done it a few times now and its so cringey. Peoples struggles are not your content. When is he giving up his channel - he reckoned he was stopping it awhile ago.Although it would mean a huge loss of income for him and his son if he did so can't really see that happening.
I don't watch him much now rather watch Greeno although he is maddening with constantly pushing his glasses back up and that laugh were he puts his tongue between his teeth gives me the ick.

Fully agree. Listening to him take 25 minutes to say what could be said in about 2 minutes max. Boring.

He doesn't look healthy at all to me, he looks like a drinker - the gut, red face, drinker's nose. I've stopped watching him but still follow this thread.

it felt very rambling and odd. Like his made up examples didn't even seem real? And he went on a rant about how many YouTuber mates he has, as you say his supermarket of choice, odd drop in by a Gary fan.He was rambling on how he does his shopping in Sainsbury’s actually and was only getting a few essentials in Waitrose
It’s hardly like doing your weekly shop at Fortnums or Selfridges is itthe whole video was bonkers really

I watched it half asleep, if I remember correctly, someone was aggrieved he was shopping at Waitrose and it wasn’t a shop he was just getting few things, naming off bread, milk, a ready meal (for his mum)..What difference does it makeExactly - why would anyone have a problem that he shopped in Waitrose when it's clear that he's making money from YouTube and his channel is all about spending money on eating out
think he also said when he was being harassed people got their phones out to film, and he was uncomfortable, the irony… also at the end he says if it happens again, he’s going to film them and put it online ..err…mrsfeather

He reminds me of pretty much every pub landlord I’ve known or worked for in hospitality. Not a healthy lifestyle. Beer every night. I take it his career was probably something like that
