If the estate he lives on is one of those where people know eachother, I bet he is known locally as the weird/creepy/oddball type guy. What was once quirky when young, just becomes problematic as you age

That’s what amazes me about people like Gary, Adam and Victoria. They were probably all slightly out of the in-crowd at school etc to the point that I bet it really amuses the people in their year that they went on to become these Disney influencers with thousands of adoring followers. I’ve read through all their threads and I don’t think we’ve ever had someone come on and say “I knew Adam at school and he was like this” or “Gary’s mum is a friend of the family and I heard x”. That really surprises me.

A real life example - as soon as I left school, one of the slightly oddball guys in our year flew to Benidorm to become a drag queen! This was over a decade ago now, when drag was much less mainstream. He would be the last person in the world you’d expect to have done that and we all found it bizarre and hilarious. Had he been vlogging that experience, you can bet your right arm I’d have been on the equivalent of Tattle spilling all the tea whilst obscuring my specific identity.

I wish someone would. One of the best things about getting old is seeing how the people you grew up with turned out - there’s always a shocker like how that guy you used to fancy looks now I definitely went to school with a few Garys, still living at home, working on that dream that was sold to us millennials that we could be anything

One girl I worked with has a Tattle thread, but I don’t want to be identified (this ain’t my name!) so I don’t post on her thread but it’s hilarious to read. It’s not quite as juicy as knowing them pre-‘fame’ though.

We need to stop comparing him to likeable intelligent people.
I think he’s more like Sloth from The Goonies, product of the 80s, hairline going, dresses and acts like a child, not quite there in the head, no independence, the only relationship he’s had is with his mum who he still lives with in that tiny room and exclusively hangs out with people much younger than him who use him

sloth has better posture though lol

Your post made me cringe when you said hangs out only with younger people. Ugh. There’s a few ppl I went to school with who stayed living at home (or moved 2 doors down) on the dole/ seasonal work who never stopped hanging out with 20 year olds. They’re heading for 40 now but I’ll go home and there they are hanging around the estate on a weekday with youngsters. Go down the pub and there’s fellas in their 50s same living situations sitting with 20 year olds. I forgot how much of a flag that is until you said it.

He honestly creeps me out to no end. I think there is no harm in him but obviously his parents enable his behaviour. He needs to grow up. A guy of his age collecting teddies…no make it stop!

People sucking Gary’s cock in the comments that he’s some pioneer for people with disabilities. There’s nothing exceptionally wrong with him. I’d wager he “struggles” with walking because he dosent exercise and has no muscle growth due to being so inactive.

He seemed to be around really popular YouTubers so I wonder what happened. Did they all finally twig that a man 10+ years older than them playing with a puppet was strange to say the least?

He doesn’t hang out with people his age because he wouldn’t be able to relate to them. We have experiences like careers, relationships, families of our own, travelling (beyond Disney with our mate or Italy with our parents) and interests such as culture, cooking, learning and politics. He wouldn’t be able to contribute to these discussions.

He is limited to walking around theme parks acting like a child, making jokes and buying pins. What 40+ year old wants to hang out with someone like that, it would annoy me beyond belief.

He is the kind of guy my parents wouldn’t have liked me hanging out with
