In the leaflet they’ve given it says that they will only treat (excise) mild superficial endometriosis during the diagnostic laparoscopy as more major gynaecological surgery requires further consent that should be obtained “once the patient has been able to consider the consequences of that more major surgery. In these circumstances... no disease modifying or curative surgery will be attempted”. “This is a diagnostic procedure and unlikely to alter symptoms”. Also been told I only need to take the day of and the day following the surgery off work as the recovery is so quick.
Dunno if it’s different as she’s gone private (I’m nhs) but it sounds as though hers wasn’t that bad (hence why they could treat there and then) and/or she’s milking it for all it’s worth. I don’t think she’d miss the opportunity to tell us all she’s having another operashun if it was bad enough to require another surgery.

Not sarcasm. It was bleeping easy and I got through a couple 100 bags of peanuts in the 3 hours I was there. Girl needs to stop complaining about the most basic of work. And I didnt have the comfort of a nice house, I was in a shed next to a space heater

I don’t know anything about endo so pardon my ignorance but is that how it works, one op and you’re cured? So is she saying she is no longer bothered by endo? I know people who have it and never thought this was the case.
I got induced menopause for a year, and a year of hormones after that, and depending on the case ppl will have to have another laparoscopy.
And no, endo has no cure.
I thought the operation was just to confirm that she had endew? Unless she went through some other stuff too

See that’s what I thought but the way that tweet reads makes it seem she is no longer bothered by the pain from endo so her period is now ‘a breeze’. Even although the doctor told her it would her worst yet. Her story just never seems to add up
