Good riddance to a cowardly piece of tit. My only sympathy is for that poor girl and her family. What a tragic story.

The lawyer Bertolino appears to state that Chris and Roberta knew their son was grieving when he was leaving the house

I wish we had more context to this - does anyone know if/when we’ll be seeing more of this interview?

Specifically, I’m curious what he means by “grieving” - was Brian grieving the loss of their relationship (breakup) or the loss of Gabby? As we all know, when Brian left on the 13th, she was only reported missing, they hadn’t found her body yet. Taken out of context, it sounds like an admission of guilt (how else could he know she was dead if her body hadn’t been found?)

I hope Gabby’s family can find closure somehow. The way they have turned their tragedy into a way to help others is admirable - a wonderful legacy.

I watched the longer interview this morning at this link, but can't seem to get it working now, you might have better luck:
https://abc7ny.com/amp/brian-laundrie-skeletal-remains-death-fbi-denver-medical-examiner/11150638/

The clip I posted before is right near the end, after he gets up to leave but the reporter wanted to ask a couple more questions.

It very much seemed to me that Brian and his parents knew Gabby was dead at that point. It would have been very unwise to use the word "grieving" in any other context, in my opinion.

Thanks for the link!

“There are loose ends that need to be tied up, there are things that need to be wrapped up between the Laundries, myself [SB] and law enforcement and perhaps, somewhere down the road, conversations with the Petitos as well.”

Maybe the Laundries eventually will tell the Petitos and Schmidts their side of what they know. It certainly won’t bring Gabby back, nor would it repair the relationship between the families, but maybe it can give them some answers.

I just read ' a spokesperson for Gabby's family said they won't be commenting at this time. They may make a statement in the coming weeks'
Thanks for that!

Incredible statement from them IMO.

They've already had. is it, a month ??

Look at Gabby's TWO families!!
They lost their daughter, and they're running a foundation and fundraisers!
That is respect.

Do we actually know for sure he had anything to do with her murder? I know there’s a lot of evidence about DA but it’s not confirmed is it?

I don’t think there is any doubt he did it. But I have the unpopular opinion that it was a crime of passion and he couldn’t live with what he had done

At the moment nothing actually confirmed by the police or FBI, though I suppose now there isn't any concern about a trial coming up we might find more out soon.
