I’m wayyy behind and haven’t watched Louis in forever, and I was shocked to find out that he’s not only still with Raya but that they’re also having a baby? Wow.

They’ve always seemed like such an odd couple to me…they seem as if they’re platonic roommates. Maybe I’m way off base, especially since I’m not an avid Louis watcher, but I get the vibe that Raya is trying to be a “cool girl” and mold herself to Louis’ interests and tries to seem more interested in the things he likes than she really is…and he’s just too oblivious to notice and thinks that’s her actual personality lol.

Sidenote: I thought the “baby blessing” and gender reveal party with the mood lighting was the most obnoxious and narcissistic thing ever…they literally had people sit in a circle and one by one gas up their egos…

Totally agree! It’s unhygienic and it looks like it probably smells bad. I also think it’s a bit of a safety blanket for him, in the sense that his entire personality seems to be wrapped up in his hair.

Agree. I’m excited to see how they deal with the arrival of the baby, but still more excited for his long awaited glow up. The urge to reach through my phone and buzz cut the birds nest is painful.

Ugh. I stopped watching their vlogs, so I had no idea that was their plan. What are they keeping the bus for anyway? It's damp and mouldy and falls apart and barely made it to Costa Rica. It's not like they'll ever travel in it again and no baby should live in a mouldy environment, so that better not be their plan. But building the bus shed just confirms, that they have no plans to move there in the next 10 years. Or ever. No idea why they're still pretending. If they ever leave their life in England behind, then to move to a wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood like they've done before. With a sponsored Dubai or Maldives holiday every month in a 5 star resort.

I think they would love to build in Costa Rica, even if only to live there occasionally, but they can't afford it. They probably expected to make a lot more money than they did. They are doing one ad after another but it's still not enough.
Their LA friends will get tired of them once the novelty wears off. They were a bunch of young people looking for new stuff to try. No one wants to sit in a circle and talk about their week for their whole life.

I used to follow this wellness lady called Mel Wells and she and her bloke moved to Costa Rica early last year and are friends with Louis and Raya so I wonder if they’re setting up a community there.

I know. They have each other, a healthy baby, a roof over their heads, money to splurge, and friends and family coming to stay with them.
I'll never understand why people don't take care of things like visas before entering a country. Or why they don't just get married to get the necessary documents. They can always have a big celebration later.

Oh my gosh, you're right, they had that week long wedding celebration with all their friends! I completely for got about that. I think they still own the land at this point. They mentioned that they will be building something quick and makeshift as soon as possible in order to fulfill the obligation that they have to start building within a certain number of years. They are bending the rules of their oh-so-loved community, by building some kind of shack to place their bus under instead of building the house they agreed to build. Again, they are disorganized and disrespectful, basically fucking their neighbors over. The reason behind building deadlines is to ensure that houses aren't isolated between vacant lots, but of course Louis and Raya are above the law, and allowed to be selfish and obnoxious.

Birth vlog out. Would have appreciated a tiny bit more blurring - especially when the nurse was cutting the umbilical cord and he just full on has the camera over the curtain. I don't think Raya had even been closed up yet?

Yeah I keep wondering what she's up to while Louis is on this "adventure". Wouldn't you be permanently stressed wondering if your husband is safe? Not great when you're pregnant.

That woman hasn't worked a day in her life. When they met, she was fresh out of university and living in a luxurious Manhatten apartment and doing fuck all. She said in their 'how we got together' video that she was helping out for an hour or two once a week at a catering business if she was in town but that she was flexible to just follow him on his travels around the world spontaneously.
I wonder if her parents still support her/ them monthly or if Louis would be too proud to accept it. Or maybe he was smarter than we think and invested wisely at his YouTube peak.

Judging from this video he really doesn't seem smart with money.
