I thought she looked great when she did that video swapping outfits with her friend Amy. In comparison Amy, who dresses like an adult, looked like she was going to a fancy dress party in Freddy’s outfits.

I mean I’m a girly girl myself and even I own some cream and pink items. But I try doing my style in a mature way. The tiny skirts and dumb fur coats are a bit babyish.

she needs to dress for her height and I’m a tall girl too. She needs to start with longer mini skirts or wear tights at least.

and longer coats and dresses because they’re too short for her

Yeah don’t get me wrong I have loads of pink and cream clothes too! I have more pink coats than you can shake a stick at but I wouldn’t wear them with pink skirts that barely cover my bum etc. I think everything is too pink, too short, and for the most part too small for her too. She doesn’t dress well at all.

This always annoys me! Especially in the Uk when it’s cold she kept saying throughout haul week that she struggled to find “winter shorts and bottoms” winter shorts?!!

Initially I did think she was pear shaped as well but she replied to someone's comment there with her body measurements; her shoulders and hips are the same width, thus making her an hourglass. She said not all girls with hourglass bodies look like what is portrayed in traditional media (i.e. the Kardashians).

I do agree with you that she stopped wearing jeans when she grew out of being size 6, I'm pretty sure she loathes jeans cos it draws attention to her thighs which is why she always wears short bottoms; it doesn't cling to her bottom-heavy figure. In her blindfolded outfits challenge, one of the outfits she put together was a nude sleeveless turtleneck and black skinnies with knee rips (she called it the 'Kardashian' look or something), she actually looked decent, kinda reminded me of Amy tbh!

Her top half is much smaller than her bottom, she isn’t busty (again not all hourglasses will have the huge bust and bum of the Kardashians but hourglasses have larger chests on the whole) and she carries/gains weight on her bottom half. Whether her measurements are technically hourglass doesn’t seem to matter, it’s not how she looks at all. If someone else had the same width shoulders and hips but then their torso was all the same (no defined waist for example) they wouldn’t be an hourglass shape either? I personally think she would look much better if she dressed for a pear shape. The fact that she’s posted her measurements to ‘prove’ she is the most ‘desirable’ shape is a bit pathetic anyway IMO.
Yeah I’ve always thought she looked nice in trousers. Would love to see her in some nice black jeans tbh.

I think she's forgetting that she still has her half-naked pics up on the internet from back when she used to do modeling, and its on her Instagram as well lol

This is really weird tbh! Why does she care what shape she is anyway, I think pear shapes look really nice tbh! It also doesn’t really matter if we haven’t seen her naked...we can see her body shape just fine in clothes

My thoughts exactly. And I agree, pear shapes do look nice. I was caught off guard when she said she was an hourglass cos I've always thought she was a pear. Maybe as what you said, she wants to be considered an hourglass cos its more 'desirable'. If anything, the way she dresses highlights her body shape even more.

I can see from her Instagram looking way back she was slimmer a few years back but she looks perfectly fine now too she has a lovely figure from what I can tell she just seems to wear more things now that are more floaty particularly round her bottom half. Her aesthetic etc isn’t really my vibe she wears the odd piece I think is nice but over all majority of her outfits look the same. Her colour palette is very boring tbh i love neutral colours too don’t get me wrong but everything in my closet isn’t the same shades lol

It's 2020, a lot of people have moved on and considered the impact of their role on the environment, but she is still unable to read the bleeping room and look deeper, rather than just focusing on her own "aesthetic". Some of her viewers did comment in her previous videos that they'd be interested in seeing vlogs or other types of content from her, but she said she'll continue to produce fashion content cos she is primarily a fashion channel. Some agreed that they watch Freddy's videos as escapism, which is probably what fueled her desire to continue pushing out this type of content. She has never been one to promote sustainability, let's be honest lol. I don't think she's even aware of how big the environmental impact of fast fashion is, and even if she is, I doubt she can just stop promoting it cos some of her viewers will come at her saying the brands she promotes are expensive (i.e. Zimmermann).

Yeah, I haven't watched in the last few weeks because there's nothing interesting on there - just a haul. I guess we'll be in for more of that seeing as she can't travel and will be in tier 4 until February in all likelihood

I'd love her content if she knew what she was talking about, even when it comes to things like brands. She doesn't have a clue about sustainability, probably has no idea who the Uighurs even are and won't stop shopping at H&M, Zara and Topshop just because the cheap polyester was made using forced labour. Not even sweatshop labour, but slaves from what are likely death camps. She's either ignorant to that (forgivable; most people are) or actively choosing to profit from it (analogous with those who profited from Auschwitz).

So many things you could do with fashion which are financially viable and sustainable - try an eBay haul again, shop your own wardrobe, try Vestiaire Collective or even Farfetch's equivalent. Try hired fashion. Try the Outnet. Most of these have options which are sustainable, beautiful, high quality and also economical for Freddy's young readership.

I agree! I also think it would be fun for Freddy to maybe to a video on the Kibbe method and how to dress for it if she's so sure that she's an hourglass

I honestly think she just does hauls to show off because she mainly shops high end which vast majority of her viewers probably can’t afford especially given the current situation like she’s not relatable at all when majority of younger people nowadays online shop from the likes of boohoo, misguided etc

And you can absolutely see that she specifically did all her "work" for the Vlog. She filmed a video and edited it but since she puts out one vid a week at most that's obviously not what she does every day all day long. I honestly don't think she even leaves the house that much tbh, she probably shoots three or more outfits for instagram on the scarce day when she goes into London and has enough content for a while. If she'd leave the house she'd see that her outfits are just ridiculous for normal people with jobs and an awareness of the weather.
