Just want to say I was gutted for Perez that Stroll beat him to Pole yesterday. I'm thrilled that it's mixed up (not a Lewis/Mercedes fan) but really wanted Perez to trump Stroll.
Yeah, same. It such a shame Perez looks like he won't be in F1 next year. He deserves a seat, like Hulkenberg.

I'm gonna sort of disagree with Ricciardo, the first thing they showed was Grosjean in the medical car, only once we knew he was out of the car and basically fine, did they show replays of the crash. The broadcasting team are very good at cutting away from very serious live accidents quickly and not showing replays until they know the driver is okay.
I love Daniel and he was clearly worked up. I thought he must've been upset when I heard he'd gone to his room at the paddock rather than staying on the pit lane. However, I agree with you, we didn't see anything until Romain was in the medical care. Replaying stuff over and over is, sadly, normal with most things, look at the 9/11 attacks.

So today was a good session, however I am furious with race direction for letting Q2 start with a tractor on the track given Jules Bianchi’s crash was under somewhat similar conditions.

We did Silverstone and camping 4 years in a row, children in tow for the first 3. Though we didn't book up for this year, and turns out it was probably the best year to skip after all!

I want to see a night race, most of the European races and I'd like to do Monaco at least once, just us adults, for the overall experience of the lavishness 😂. Don't think its a circuit I'd want to revisit again and again though.

Maybe it's just cos I adore Danny 😍 and want him to have a team mate I like. Didn't warm to Esteban (although this year I'll be cheering him to beat Alonso, whom I can't stand)
I cannot stand Alonso either. He brings teams down with his ego and attitude.

I hope his time out of F1 has dulled his ability as a driver, though I'm sure it hasn't.

Who are people thinking will be the new Hass and Alfa Romeo driver line ups? I'll be gutted if kimi retires, but I think he will.

It’s going to be a interesting weekend, glad to see George get a shot...

...however, this isn’t going to look good for Mercedes either way:

1. George is good - so this makes their decision to keep Bottas not a good one, and there will be calls (from British fans & media) that George should be at merc

2. George is not good - (which may just be down to a different beast of a car) - puts his future career at risk, if he can’t at least match Bottas or be close behind.

This is either going to cause a lot of hype around George, or give people a reason to write him off.
I don't think it would put his future at risk. It can't be based on one race.

However I don't think it's great news for Bottas

Oddly they’ve not announced it on the official app yet. Is Canada in a bad way with covid?
I think it's to do with the 2 week quarantine for Canada. I'm sure I read something to do with that.

Or it was about the extra $8million Formula 1 wanted.

Yeah, Helmut is a massive cunt. Proper wanking over Max Verstappen. In a way I feel sorry for Max, because he's got to not only deal with Helmut Marko and Christian Horner, he's also got his dad Jos who seems like an extremely pushy parent.

He's going to be as bad as Bernie Ecclestone before long for talking absolute shite and being toxic as anything.
max is going to be that one that goes off the rails... is it any wonder he’s so aggressive when he drives/ on the radio? doenst excuse him from using slurs mind you but it does make you think
