All the talk now is about the date he signed the contract with McLaren
just reading it! if it IS true that mclaren signed oscar on the 4th july and then had daniel address the garage to say he was staying a few days later……. that’s very messy and almost cruel on their part. daniel’s reactions throughout have seemed genuine to me, and it definitely seems like they were working behind the scenes while simultaneously having him say things or release messages to confirm he was there for the long run.
the oscar/lando dynamic is going to be VERY interesting i think, like we’ve discussed before.

So Marko has said now that RB won’t stop Gasly from jointing Alpine as long as certain conditions are met. I guess he means dollars.

that alpha tauri seat is an interesting one. if it’s true that mick has given up his ferrari rights (can’t remember if that got confirmed!) then a move into the red bull camp might be an interesting one. juri vips was probably getting lined up but wrecked his own chances. does liam lawson get bumped up? i can’t see yuki as team leader either, he’s not ready, and that’s only if he stays. my money is going on mick tbh, but i’d like it to be liam.

i don’t know what they’ve done to “improve” that car but, on top of everything else, they’ve lost the pace they had at the start of the season. some weird stuff being said about the yuki situation. in the heat of the moment i was like THAT’S DODGY but having considered i don’t know if it was dodgy as such, but still a weird scenario imo. i wonder if there was something up and they tried to mask it by randomly checking his seatbelt even though he’d told them there was something wrong with the tyres?! weird.
