We know tickets will be going up for sale soon and we've been trying to read up on the different grandstands/corners. Never been so not 100% sure what to expect, but we think we've narrow it down to either Club or Village based on prices and potential for action. Has anyone sat at either corner?

We’ve been twice and both times booked Club corner. Planning to go next year and out of interest tried various stands around the track at the classic car day last Saturday. Still think Club corner is the best, but Woodcote (the middle seats between A and B) is also good and at a push Stowe. HTH x

He did the Williams FP recently too, didn't he? I think he did a Mercedes drive this year too? Lots of free practices for him. Maybe Mercedes want him to get experience, but don't want to give up a free practice spot for him and other teams needed someone to fulfill the 'young driver' requirement for however many free practices they need to give to one.

Is there precedent of a retroactive lap deletion from Q1 recently? I can't remember what happened to Checo that time he got into Q3 with a deleted lap. He may have got a grid drop, but that was from a Q2 position??
