Exactly. It feels like Max would need a few DNFs for Charles' title fight to be back on the cards. Not completely out of the realms of possibility but it's a tall order.. 🥲

i just can’t see where he fits into all of this and no team has really hinted at him being part of their plans. would renault/alpine take him back? would he be interested in williams and could they afford him? alfa surely keep zhou on so……. i worry.

In all seriousness I’m still holding onto hope that they’ll at least win Monza but with the Red Bull’s straight line speed that’s probably not happening, unless it actually rains love a good crazy wet race and this seasons been lacking crazy races as it is

I'd also like to see him in a management role... He can't abandon F1 altogether Only thing is he'd still be doing insane amounts of travel in those team roles.

For my own entertainment, I'd love for him to become a commentator. Getting bored with some of the current ex-F1 Sky 1 presenters, I think he'd bring a fresh insight and love his humour

Not sure he'd do commentary but gey who knows. I think maybe a bit of time if beckons for him with his young family that he clearly misses when away with F1. There might be 1 huge bee farm in Germany soon

On apple I think its box box or formulify.
On android there aren't as many options, i've been using 1 widget countdown but just looked and bob box is on android too so going to go give that a try

The box box app looks so much more elaborate on iphone than it does on android though, not sure if that has anything to do with a premium version or just the type of phone you have. It has super cool widgets on iphone (the circles with stats on the lockscreen, for instance) and I can't seem to get that on my android phone which suuuucks .

Also, hi everyone! I believe this is my first official message on this thread. I'm seeing some familiar faces, I used to be active on the other wags thread but looking for something different. Had no idea this thread existed until a while ago, excited to be a part of it!

Yeah, not to bring the vibe down or talk bad about the other thread but this thread seems much more civil at the moment. To each their own, i'm just glad there's multiple options so there's something for everyone! And the cool part is that anyone can make a thread about anything : - )

I'm so excited for it to be raceweek again. I believe the Singapore race starts at 9 PM or something for me, i love the vibe of watching F1 during the night. Gives me the opportunity to make it a cozy evening with snacks, lol

Ditto, Albon is such a sweetheart and a much better driver than he’s given credit for. Red Bull and Horner knocked hi confidence so badly but it’s nice to see he’s gaining it back at Williams. I thought he’d be a good second seat at McLaren.

Kimi is racing in NASCAR (and I personally find NASCAR more fun to watch), so that could be something to explore in one or two years.

i still don’t know why whoever is advising him has gone down this path - like you say, what a cloud to enter f1 under. i know most of it isn’t his fault as such but i can’t imagine this is how you would want your career to start. he’d better hope he does well!

George is basically the long term replacement for Lewis. He was never going to just sit back as a no.2 driver. And at the end of the day it was Mercedes allowing the pit stop. They could've said no.

100% this! They’re looking to the future and George is showing he has a head for strategy that makes a good driver!

I personally can't stand Sainz and find Gasly annoying; but I still enjoy watching them racing. Really the only one I wish could dissappear from the sport is Alonso #blasphemy

i enjoy fernando’s dedication to being a messy b who lives for drama, but i also get why people wouldn’t like him i mostly categorise into my favourites, drivers i generally don’t mind, ones i dislike and then ones i have absolutely no opinion on whatsoever (namely perez, stroll and latifi. sorry lads).

Haha if we’re doing unpopular opinions I’m massively bitch eating crackers about Leclerc. There’s just something about the kid.

happy for charles obviously but ferrari remain a complete dumpster fire i don’t know what they’ve done to “improve” that car but, on top of everything else, they’ve lost the pace they had at the start of the season.

I know, right? I've said a few times that I think they'd make Lewis and Nico look like Yukierre. Either way, if it does happen it'll be interesting to see how it pans out with them as teammates.
