So best place to stay imo is whittlebury hall (might be sold out though) as that’s very close to the track. Or maybe stay on site? I had a nose around the glamping suites last year and they looked really nice! If you’ve got grandstand tickets, you’ll be assigned a seat (you normally pick when booking) but if you had general admission seats you don’t have a seat, either sit on the grass, stand or bring a chair. If you do just have general admission, I would really recommend getting inner track access. Imo I think there’s lots to do especially at the fan zone area. Also if you want to spot the drivers, you can see them come in too. You’ll LOVE it, especially if it’s good weather!! hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions etc

Thank you so much It's the first time I've ever got tickets for Silverstone and in retrospect, the ticket company didn't make it fully clear apart from seats in the section I wanted, what other experiences/areas were open too. Just checked and all tickets for inner track access sold out... at least I know for next time! Thank you again, you're a legend! Xxx

a watch is relatively easy to steal too, especially if (as a “fan”) you’re getting the person to sign something or pose for a photo with you. it’s sad because the only way to stay “safe” is to really stop interacting with fans in that way, which i don’t think anyone wants.

Very long session for quali. Many mistakes and issues because of rain. Yep quali looks crazy but with the sprint race tomorrow could be interesting. Feel for those fans in the rain. Looks and sounds pretty awful.
