This circuit scares me so much- it's just dangerous

Hoping after this weekend they re-evaluate their contract and remove it

I think it is utterly crazy. Does anyone remember the article posted about mechanics and their mental health with the present schedule? 30 races is completely ridic. And as much as it is nice to have races in Africa etc, more time zones in the mix. As it is F1 jumps to different continents so I could see them go from Africa to Europe and then the US.
Comms staff are also dropping like flies. Aurelie of Alpine pretty much said the implications on her physical and mental health were too much and her last race was Bahrain.

23 races are enough. I also don't understand logistically moving from continent to continent for triple and doubleheaders. Do a Europe leg, a middle eastern leg, north American, and South American. I get that that is easier said than none but I'm sure that would ease a lot of stress with travel and time zones for the staff generally.

I googled their barrister and he has an impressive CV.

I wonder have Red Bull legal advisors with them in there? Sky have said that Mercedes did fear something like this happening and planned ahead so sounds like the barrister doesnt normally travel with them.
Red bull don’t have their lawyer with them I don’t think. It was mentioned by sky.
But the main issue here isn’t red bull v Mercedes so they don’t really need one. It’s Mercedes v FIA

30 is a ridiculous number of races and I think its unfair to suggest it, even if its only half-serious. The drivers need time to rest between races, they'd be in a constant cycle of travelling/press commitments/racing if it went higher. Surely it'd be dangerous to keep adding new races every year. I already think this year's calendar is pretty packed as it is.

it’s sounding more likely that Lewis is retiring
He’s apparently unfollowed F1 on Instagram and Jean Todt said that ‘we will miss him, he’s an outstanding driver’ at the prize giving
Would be very sad to see him go over this mess :/
We'll wait and see. Can see either way as must feel harshly treated. But he is a fighter he will be determined to win again. Plus it will be a massive middle finger salute to others 🖕
I thought this about Seb after the awful time at ferrari but he seems determined to do better at Aston Martin next year.

What do we think of the rumours of Hamilton retiring? Still no posts from him or confirmation for next year that I can see
He’ll be hurting at the injustice for sure but imo the fighting racer in him will try for the 8th then he will go. I don’t see him letting all his fans/the team down leaving like this

Am I the only one who needs some time to get used to this?
I just feel like it'll be a turbulent year either way.

If he comes and underperforms people will say he's overrated and didn't deserve the seat. If he comes and tries to stick it to Lewis it'll end up like Nico and Lewis.

Also, Lewis is on the back foot having lost the championship so that only makes it more difficult.

Yeah from what I’ve heard, loads of people have it from teams to Pirelli etc 😟 I don’t think mask wearing has been used religiously
