Anyone doing Silverstone this year? We went 2019. Loved it. Amazing. Then last year we just got a refund on our tickets and didn’t bother this year with everything being wild. Weekend/Sunday is sold out so thinking of just driving and going for the day for quali. The covid test / situation is so confusing

Sprint quali on Saturday! But I’m at work. Will try and do race day next season if I can afford it
Yeah what’s the deal with the sprint race are they moving quali? Have looked into it.

Yep we’re going for the whole thing. Got great seats as it was supposed to be my retirement pressie! Inner track for Friday but now they’ve got the sprint qualy thing and the timings are all later. Sort of hoping they insist people stay in their allocated seats the whole time so we don’t have to get up early for good seats fri/satAnyone doing Silverstone this year? We went 2019. Loved it. Ah thanks! Yeah we were gutted last year had club corner seats then it all went bits up and we couldn’t commit to moving our tickets to this year so got a refund

Similar to f2 from previous years I believe so they will only have two practice sessions and quali on Friday. Then quali results determines the start grid for the sprint race on Saturday (about 20 mins race) then the results from the sprint race on the Saturday determines the grind on Sunday (normal race)

Be interesting to see if the normal pecking order is followed or of this really changes much
Will it be an epic 20 min, or just safe laps not to break the cars.

Hard to say.. with f2 it used to be a safe lap with a few changes but the last couple of years it’s been epic! But IMO F2 is extremely competitive atm plus they’ve tweaked how they do the sprint races so hard to predict it in F1

We're going to race day! Bit worried about it being full capacity. Hope I cope ok and don't have a panic attack. We've got grandstand seats at Woodcote.
Did you hear that Netflix were filming with him last weekend? It's not for Drive to Survive though, it's a spin off....
