I’ve only just finished watching and went on Twitter to see 3 DSQ! Poor Pierre and Charles driving all that race with a broken front wing. He was so much quicker than Lewis, don’t know what happened to him after yesterday when he was so in control.
Also Haas have totally done an 180 from when they chewed up their tyres so quickly, Estie did really well to hang on for those points and pleased for Ollie as well

Red bull clearly haven’t learnt anything from any of their previous attempts. Like why not start Yuki in it? (I really hope he does well, because that vcarb looks good! And it would a shame for Yuki to really suffer mentally)
Max will be off before too long (as once this baby comes along, and I hope everything goes well with that) I think he’ll just stick to the online stuff and other series. They’re ducked (I can’t say Im not enjoying the downfall of the wick that is Horner) all the other teams now basically have TP who are of engineering backgrounds and I do wonder if this is having a impact on it all (in terms of personnel leaving etc) how can they get the best out of Liam because today he just looked a shell of himself

Yuki will be in the red bull for Japan, if Ralph Schumacher’s interview on german telly is true, Liam is going back to RB. (But has till the summer break to try and get better, if not they want Franco!)
The Yuki being in Red Bull for Japan story really seems to have taken off, not just as a social media gossip.
When was the last time he tested a Red Bull though? What makes them think he’ll do a better job than Liam when he didn’t even seem to be considered, it was between Liam and Daniel for the promotion?

It's just a toxic place to be. The turnaround of drivers of the 2nd seat is awful. No time is given nowadays. I'm not a fan of Liam tbh but hearing thos weekends and previous weekends pen talks with journalists was tough. He sounds so down beat already. It's 2 races! Don't see anyone nor the team putting the pressure on Carlos at Williams.
I agree with what Bernie Collins said Liam should have done what Kimi did test an old car to get used to it rather than driving the sister team car.

there has been a lot of speculation as to why they didn’t want yuki, the first was that there is some deeper rotted racism in that RBR team (again marko etc believable), the second one was with Honda going for 2026 they apparently don’t have to fulfill some of the sponsorship end which in the past they would have had too so it would have been more likely that yuki would have got it if they weren’t moving to ford, and thirdly apparently in Liam’s contract for 2024 it was that he would 100% have a spot in the RBR team for 2025 as he’d sat around and not taken other offers (this sounds like bull)
I also wonder if RB (as a part of this we’re not just a copy of RBR) we’re more keen to have Yuki and maybe score points where they can instead of two rookies who they didn’t know how they’d go
I also think there were concerns about yuki’s mentality to training but now he’s worked harder than before they regret it, the mismanagement at red bull needs a doc on it, they’ve done this countless times and it never gets any better

he doesn’t seem to have a lot of support in Red Bull and could have done with the practice and pre season testing in that car. Especially at his home race. I hope the car is good to him
I don't expect it to happen. Because this is Yuki being dropped in so far in the deep end, I can't expect him to do anything but drown.
But I do hope that Yuki can do a decent job and stick two fingers up at Helmet Marko.and Horner, neither of whom actually like or rate Yuki as a driver.

I mean it's just ridiculous, a change after 2 races. It's hardly time to get used to a very set up car for 1 driver. Bit them again the team is just set up for 1 driver.

up to the tears that run RB.God knows how Liam will deal with it. I know many don't like him but that must hurt.
