Yes I just heard that too!
Also how much does Alex Brundle sounds like his Dad?!

Hello, is anyone out there?!??

Did anyone get up stupidly early to watch the race live? I didn't so watching the re run.
Crazy damn race!
Massive respect to Anthony Hamilton for going up the paddock to see Hadjar (whose hero is Sir Lewis) to cinsike him as the driver was in tears due to what happened to him.

Yes up early this week and same next weekend. Looks like they'll be a very competitive midfield this year with teams already beating 2024 points etc. I just hope for a decent title race.

I watched the highlights, what a chaotic race! Feeling cautiously optimistic/excited for Williams (watch me jinx it now!) Actually, I'm excited for the season on the whole and already looking forward to what the next race brings.

Gutted for Sainz, I really want him to do well just to stick 2 fingers up to Ferrari.

Yeah his home race too. His time will come. Pleased to see Alex up there. He's had some tough times and doesn't get a lot of air time and credit. Well done to young kimi too.
Yes hopefully a good confidence boost for Alex after a tricky end to last season and all the hype about Carlos joining (although I love Carlos has gone there and hopefully with them both they can be there to capitalise whenever points are on offer)

I did get up and I regret it, it was quite a snooze for a lot of it.
Yuki deserved more but was another one who was hit with bad strategy decisions
Lewis’ first taste of Ferrari strategy, I was laughing a bit

Yes, I'm thrilled for Alex. Found myself really rooting for him last season when I started watching again, and I'm hoping he continues like this.

Made me laugh when James Vowles was interviewed alongside Alex, "we had an extra analyst in Carlos, his input on the tyres and when to change" but didn't really say too much about Alex and his good race. Already thinking it's possibly 1 higher driver than the other. Hope I wrong.

I just think James wants Carlos to feel better about himself! Carlos was beating himself up in quali and James did the same then. I think he’s just conscious Carlos can leave whenever as the top teams would consider him if their rookie bets go the way of past ones!

Got up this morning, watched the first bit of chaos fell asleep for an hour or so and woke back up for the next round of chaos! Can't believe I'm saying this but I was actually rooting for Verstappen to catch up to Norris. I dislike Norris so much 😶
Very sad for the Ferrari boys and Oscar but SO happy for Nico! He somehow managed to get that tractor into the top 10?! Insanity. Wish he would finally get a decent car.

Oh and that scene with Lewis dad and Isaac has actually made me tear up a bit. What a class act.

Helumt Marko needs to shut the duck up. Of course he was crying, mental health might not exist to you old man but it’s important the stigma is dropped. Wish he would just disappear and take his stupid comments with him. Isaac was allowed to be emotional about missing his first f1 start, his fault or not (I don’t think it was his fault)

Glad Verstappen's streak of leading the WDC is ended, not so happy it's Norris who seems to have disappeared up his own a. I also don't like Piastri so McLaren dominance isn't great for me! I'd rather it was George, he's a head but owns it rather sharing the thin skin Norris and Verstappen both have.

Nice showing from Kimi on debut. Disaster class from Ferrari, Alpine, and Racing Bulls on that last rain shower - particularly the last two teams who only had a single driver to focus on rather than needing to coordinate a double stack. The Haas is awful. And Anthony Hamilton's the loveliest man in the paddock.

I’ve laughed at this because I love when people have very different opinions on the drivers 😂😂

It was too early, when Isaac was being comforted by Lewis’s Dad I ended up crying! Great race this morning but would like a nice dry one next please.

Helmet Marko seriously needs someone to put him in his place. Racist, sexist and overall 1 complete twit. How he is still in a job I am stunned.
How he disrespects the drivers (that drive for his team and the "junior team" is disgusting.

Woke up early to watch the race, not a bad race tbh. I thought Ollie the Vear should have got driver of the day some great overtakes and battles.

Not to diss kimi (because I think he’s showing why Toto was willing to go all in) but he didn’t deserve it at all! Some of the others showed way more race worthy moves
