I don't expect it to happen. Because this is Yuki being dropped in so far in the deep end, I can't expect him to do anything but drown.

But I do hope that Yuki can do a decent job and stick two fingers up at Helmet Marko.and Horner, neither of whom actually like or rate Yuki as a driver.

I mean it's just ridiculous, a change after 2 races. It's hardly time to get used to a very set up car for 1 driver. Bit them again the team is just set up for 1 driver.
I hope Yuki does well and like you say puts up to the tears that run RB.
God knows how Liam will deal with it. I know many don't like him but that must hurt.

Really not the best experience 🥲 Seeing the cars live yesterday was great and the whole vibe was really cool but that was about it. Found the parking organisation horrible and ridiculously overpriced - they don't know how to arrange the cars properly and it's just big grassy fields so due to the rain lots of people got stuck (nearly us too!). Food is also crazy expensive.

We have left now F2 sprint has been postponed and not sure if qualifying will even take place? It's supposed to keep raining until early evening.

Honestly this is why I went with a package last year, I just had to get to and from the coach from the hotel rather than dealing with the parking. Worth every single penny that they hiked the price up... and the food last year was shit and expensive with those bloody Spa cards!

Hopefully you get a good race tomorrow! With a mixed up grid it should be.

The Yuki being in Red Bull for Japan story really seems to have taken off, not just as a social media gossip.
When was the last time he tested a Red Bull though? What makes them think he’ll do a better job than Liam when he didn’t even seem to be considered, it was between Liam and Daniel for the promotion?

It's just a toxic place to be. The turnaround of drivers of the 2nd seat is awful. No time is given nowadays. I'm not a fan of Liam tbh but hearing thos weekends and previous weekends pen talks with journalists was tough. He sounds so down beat already. It's 2 races! Don't see anyone nor the team putting the pressure on Carlos at Williams.
I agree with what Bernie Collins said Liam should have done what Kimi did test an old car to get used to it rather than driving the sister team car.

What on earth were those penalties? Where is the consistency? In what other sport do the people at home have a better grasp on how the rules should be applied. Surely there is going to be some serious unrest between the teams the the FIA over the next week?

Exactly.its like they sit there and think, well we need it interesting for next week to make sure there is some "interest" next week for constructors and 2nd place.yeah I'm a cynic.

Yeah I think it highlights the need for fresh blood on the grid, next year should be interesting with more rookies but I think Alonso, Bottas and stroll need to leave

Sadly Stroll will not get told to leave even though his form is poor. I thought Martin Brundle said today Bottas was off to Indycar? Alonso again cannot see Sston Martin telling him to go he has too much experience and is very knowledgeable and they need that.
I get why he has got it but really Danny Ricc driver of the day? See he got fastest lap, helping his old team there, wonder who decided that?

They keep hinting on the news here in Australia that DR might return to a different team as a reserve driver. I don’t see that happening, and agree that all the posts from the drivers make it seem very final. DR made it clear he wants the RB seat; I don’t see him returning.

So, Toto apparently decided on Kimi 5 minutes after Lewis said he'd go to Ferrari. Stupid rash decision. He should have talked to Carlos first and given Kimi more time in F2 or possibly the Williams seat.

I don’t think James Vowles is intrested in Williams being a merc junior team anymore! He seems to have shut that option down quite a few times

I’m lucky to be at Zandvoort for the race weekend! Been all over the place for weather, seen all of the drivers on stage 🥹 it is a lovely atmosphere.

Enjoy! But be careful there was some bother last year (or year before sorry memory ain't the greatest) I saw Lando spotting his Mum in the crowd on video, bless. Hope the weather ain't too bad for you and post some pics when you can
