Shall we all have a sweepstake on how many laps completed before the newbie prangs it?!
As if he isn't going to out brake himself into turn one and bin it into someone.

Although will presumably do some damage in practice/quali as well.

I’ve only just finished watching and went on Twitter to see 3 DSQ! Poor Pierre and Charles driving all that race with a broken front wing. He was so much quicker than Lewis, don’t know what happened to him after yesterday when he was so in control.
Also Haas have totally done an 180 from when they chewed up their tyres so quickly, Estie did really well to hang on for those points and pleased for Ollie as well

I didn’t think RB cared about giving people a gentle exit!
So what’s that then, Lawson for Red Bull and Hadjar for RB with Yuki next year?
It would make sense to actually have a junior in at RB! Some were saying when DR left RB he was still in the pool of red bull drivers but to me his post didn’t sound like that

Yes hopefully a good confidence boost for Alex after a tricky end to last season and all the hype about Carlos joining (although I love Carlos has gone there and hopefully with them both they can be there to capitalise whenever points are on offer)
Made me laugh when James Vowles was interviewed alongside Alex, "we had an extra analyst in Carlos, his input on the tyres and when to change" but didn't really say too much about Alex and his good race. Already thinking it's possibly 1 higher driver than the other. Hope I wrong.

There is no way after Danny they’re putting Checo in that vcarb seat. If they’ve got Franco and it’s been reported he would go straight into that red bull seat, then Lawson gets the vcarb, if franco doesn’t go Hajar is ready to move up so they’re not short of options
---

I think Bottas said himself he was exploring some options and I wouldn’t be surprised with Kimi coming in they want a mentor for him in too!
Interesting! I hadn’t considered the mentoring aspect for Bottas. Definitely needed for someone as young and inexperienced as Kimi. I’m so stupid that I was trying to figure out what Raikkonen had to do with anything before I realised what you were saying 😂

It seems insane to me to Franco right into the Red Bull seat, but I guess it’s not the same as when they were cycling through inexperienced drivers. I am curious as to what will happen with Checo. Like surely he can’t keep that seat, but stranger things have happened.

He’s an F2 driver for Williams. Interesting his name never came up in what they were floating around. I wonder if this means he also won’t be able to go back to f2?

It's still a bit odd to let him race 1 race and then replace why not during the break then time given to newbie?
Plus maybe save the car being smashed up again?
I wouldn't be surprised if this is tied to sponsor money - as in: they pay for the second half of the season if Logan is driving in the second half, so they have him do the one race to tick this box.

Silly having some f2 rookie in that seat. They should have gone with someone experienced to limit the damages.
