@BubbleDuck Another couple of suggestions from a veteran of being nauseated. The pharmacy should have OTC medication like ginger tablets for people who are travelling, I can't believe they don't. The one I take is called Travacalm.
I also have what are called Sea-bands, they're like a wristband but have a plastic half-ball thing which you position on your wrist on a particular spot, usually about two fingers under the bottom of your hand. That's a pressure point that really does help relieve mild nausea when pressure is applied.
Sea-band is just the brand name, mine were from eBay, $6 AUD for 2 pairs. They're often used by people on cruises to combat seasickness so they should be available in a pharmacy.
