Harold's watching a livestream of an American cat rescue place called Furball Farm. They have 350 cats there and it's addictive viewing.
They have machines that throw crunchy food on to the floor and cats appear out of nowhere to eat it.

The restaurant next to the steps I sit on has just lowered a 5m x 5m net into the river. That's bleeping cheating.
You can see it at the left side. Oh well too hot now anyway.

Bit of a mild moan of martyrdom. Day off for me, college tomorrow then four days of work... I'm attending a soup and trivia lunch with W. She wouldn't go on ger own. It starts at noon, finish around 3pm, so chops my day up entirely and in order to be a good daughter I may as well pretend it's exactly what I want to be doing on a Monday. It's quite a big job, this "companion" life. Mild moan over!

But there will be soup?
Admittedly I’m in a big “soup” phase, I just bought a soup maker.

Just got back from the $2 markets. I was one of the last in so there wasn't much left but I did get a 1.2 kg cottage pie and some lamingtons for Harold plus fruit and veg. I've been craving avocado toast with a little salt sprinkled on top and was lucky enough to get two decent feeling avocados.
Now I'm all peopled and shopping centred out, the weather's about to get rainy and windy so I'm going back to bed.

Heck, chopsy, I only get to choose between Aldi, Lidl or the Co-op.

Enjoying the greyer weather today. I do like a damp garden 😬 Clearing a stack of admin and waiting for pics of a friend’s fresh-out-today grandchild. Think she knows me well enough to know I’d prefer pics of her dog and cats, but I’ll make good noises.

YH has gone on holiday today so I won't see her again until next Thursday. Fortunately I can still text her the same absolute rubbish I always send. Today's highlights include my fear of throwing cyclists off a bridge and the thrilling tale of having bought Sideboard Cat new food so now she doesn't have the people anymore.

You're all welcome.

(also really recommend Untamed for sensitive kitties, no disgusting jelly to explode out of the tin or get on Sideboard Cat's chops)

It's the quick and the dead here at MC Towers this morning, I was a bee's fool away from losing a finger to Susan's claws.
My fault for trying to take her stick-stick while we were playing, I should've taken note of her biting the air and realised the danger I was in.

She's bleeping fast for a 12 year old cat, eh.

Dave is an incredibly messy eater and ends up with jelly/gravy on the top of his nose. He then fails to clean it so has a constant stained brown nose at the moment 🤦‍♀️
