Once again, there was no speculation about correlation between exercise causing miscarriage. The suggestion was that her diet and exercise combined at the time seemed to be a bit intense and perhaps it was related to the trauma of less - which would explain why she seems to have calmed down a bit now, which is obviously positive.

Also, yes, she has in fact apparently had issues with food and exercise. This is the woman who used to restrict her diet and was open about it in vlogs, such as the time she filmed herself just having some broccoli for dinner and said that was something that she does. So it is topical and she’s the one that brings these things into videos/social media. She’s also the one that brought up her pregnancy issues. What exactly do you expect?
I’ve watch Fleur for years (since she started I think) and I’ve never thought she has issues with food. I have never had the impression that she restricts. Fleur and her family have a healthy and varied diet.

You may want to start a rave thread.
There actually is a rave thread and I linked it in here and got called a "hater" 🤯

Fleur has got herself a light coloured Chanel Jumbo (might even be a maxi) as per her latest IG picture. And a new Rixo dress. But yeah she's soooo sustainable.

I like Fleur. I think she’s always stayed true to herself throughout all the time she’s done YouTube. I don’t care if she’s rich and lives in a mansion, it’s nice to see others from different walks of life. Even better when they come across as kind and down to earth like her.

I think Fleur has always been secure in who she is and that’s reflected in her career and social media etc.

I’ve enjoyed her lockdown content but her other videos are really quite boring. She does need a shakeup from that point of view.

If Mike and his family are worth SO much do you think Fleur had to sign a prenup??
Fleur's family wealth is similar to Mike's, possibly the same.

Also prenups aren't much of a thing in England (UK/GB?) and aren't legally binding, though a judge can take them into consideration, but since they're not really legal it wouldn't be smart to rely on them and a gamble (do you get a judge who'll take them into account or not?).
Prenups might become more popular and law might change in reflection of that, but so far it's not worth very much.

This is one of many(!) reasons why so many women come to London from abroad to divorce their husbands.

I totally agree she would have got grief either way I'm just curious. The only thing you need to supplement is b12 and lots of vegan foods are fortified with it anyway. You can have a horrendous diet as a meat eater- all processed and fast food but people don't worry about where your child is getting their vitamins from if you say they are going to be a meat eater (not a dig at you at all). I just find it quite interesting.
I feel like it's a hot topic to discuss, as nutrition discussions can quickly get heated and people's opinions are so different on it...
But dietitians and docs recommend for all growing humans (until growth is done, and the brain grows till about age 25) to eat everything, not even to consume low fat anything (general recommendation is nowadays to shun low fat stuff anyway, for everyone).
On top of that it is said that our bodies absorb nutrients differently from eg fish than from chia, both may have omega fats but the fish has also enzymes which help absorption, so you get the full health effect from fish but not plant sources of omega. And this is true for many other things.

I think this is why some people have to stop their vegan diets after some years, as some of their resources stored in the body got depleted over years and never replenished.

A dietitian said in an interview I read a couple of years ago that you'd have to basically go to school for a couple of years to learn about proper nutrition and what foods to pair together, so you get the same health effect off a plant based diet as off an omnivorous diet.

I thought that was an overstatement at the time, but I've read a bit on nutrition since and various diets and think that's bang on.

So it is still easier to feed a child a "traditional" diet than to faff around with so much food and pairings, esp when you have a child who's a fussy eater.

There's also the problem that we're all built differently and we don't all respond equally well to certain diets.
A friend of mine was vegetarian but had to stop after many years because they got quite ill and their doc told them to eat meat again and that solved all problems.

We will also see in coming years (likely in decades) how healthy (and environmentally friendly) some diets really are, like a plant-based, as more people eat this way.

Food is also fortified with vit D (and some foods like eggs contain it naturally), yet we're still almost all lacking this vitamin and should take supplements in addition to vit D rich food and a bit of sun exposure during the crucial months when vit D can be naturally formed by our bodies.

I am actually surprised she shared this, i never thought she'd be open about something like this but im glad she has. Miscarriages are (sadly) extremely common and by talking openly about it women help other women feel less alone. Hope things get better for them soon.

Fleur did this in her usual classy and unfussy way - telling us about her two miscarriages without snot and tears everywhere. Like most of us she keeps that to herself and those closest to her.
As someone who also had two miscarriages I totally understand her feeling with the second one. Thankfully I got my rainbow baby in the end and Fleur will too.
I also suspect her family might be a bit like mine - my nan was very open about pregnancy loss and very matter-of-fact, so miscarriages are seen as sad, but a very normal fact of life in my family, something that is openly discussed and not a huge devastating secret kind of thing.

I always wonder this and think maybe it’s because she herself goes all out with the presents so people feel obligated. That or it’s just cause she’s wealthy. Can’t relate, lol. If I had the money I’d love to spoil my friends but it’s just a bit of money dropped into my sisters account for her birthday and a family Kris Kringle for me, lol. To be fair, she must be a really lovely friend as she seems to have had the same circle of off-youtube friends over the years. Probably because she keeps all that stuff private I guess
Seems like all her friends are quite well off, too. I mean, how many weddings abroad has she been to in the last few years?

I think I prefer the hall. I’m left politically but I don’t know how I feel about inheritance tax, like I guess they’re millionaires so maybe they should just pay it but anyone who has assets worth over 350k has to do I don’t think it should unreasonable to try to avoid it lol, like for many people it’s not their fault house prices have risen so much for example. Plus woodland/land is exempt from it which is the bigger issue here.

I actually don’t know why I like Fleur when she and mike probably vote Tory

Mike and Fleur wouldn't ever get divorced. They come from a world where divorce isn't a thing... They may not be having sex with each other, but they will never get divorced.
The house is big enough to never have to see each other should they decide to separate, but I agree, they will not divorce.

I am not going to argue about this, but I would like to add that a tiny baby is most familiar with its mother's voice after birth and that remains so during the first year and includes smell. For a very small baby, when the primary caregiver is "suddenly" gone and doesn't appear for hours or days, it is stressful.
Everyone has to decide for themselves how they lead their lives and just because we all have different opinions on matters it doesn't have to be called "shaming" or "bashing". Some spend less time with their kids, others a lot, it's a personal decision, it can be commented upon and some of these things are also indisputable facts determined by research.
Having a different opinion isn't what makes it shaming, saying 'oh that poor tiny baby needs her mother (more than her father)' because fleur works is though.
Fleur and mike seem to have a pretty balanced view of caring for river so I don't think the baby was ever stressed because fleur was suddenly gone and left with mike. A baby needing a mother more than a father, other than for breastfeeding in the first few weeks & even then as plenty of babies are bottle fed, is just a pile of shite and not an undisputed fact determined by research

The thing with Fleurs vlogs are even though she is at home she's still doing things so the vlogs arn't boring. trimming the dogs, cooking, playing with River, painting rivers the table and chairs and working out. Zoe did a 50 min vlog of nothing basically walked in the garden and back inside!

I mostly like that she hasn’t spent the last 8 weeks of lockdown shilling hauls and trying on dresses this whole time... her vlogs have been entertaining and natural in my small opinion! 👍🏼

I love some of her individual pieces but not all together. Like the All Saints leather jacket she wore a lot - LOVE. Could never buy it but I adore it! And those Gucci suede boots are lovely. She posted a photo a while ago and I thought she looked lovely. Polka dot dress, the Gucci boots and the All Saints jacket. I wish she dressed similarly all the time as that’s bang on my style and I could get some inspiration but I agree, I don’t love most of her choices. Personal taste and all!

She always has stayed true to her style throughout the years. I do adore how she dresses river up. Her and mike have definitely stayed the same after all these years!
but yes someone mentioned about getting gifts for river at the second hand market. That is something I truly like about her.

When did she decide to show River so much? We had months and months of the headless baby on her IG and in vlogs, and now that she's a toddler that you could actually recognise she's allowed on social media? I don't understand the logic in that at all...
The cynical part of me thinks that River wasn't that cute as a baby but has grown into a much prettier toddler hence she shows her more on social media.
