I have never wanted children, but I can totally understand someone is sad they can’t have a second child. That does not mean you’re not grateful for your first and you also don’t have to be quiet about it because others can’t have children at all.

Do brands don't realise yet that this isnt 2010 anymore? People now get really annoyed by influencers getting everything for free so as results they turn against any brand and stop buying from them? I even stopped helping the Blue Cross when I found out they were sending pr packages full of goodies to influencers instead of using the money for animals in need.

This whole thing screams 'vanity project' from the typos on the website to the cringe behind-the-scenes. It lacks any kind of professional oversight and plus she's making stuff up - on the website it states that the jewellery is made to order, ok so how is it then 'sold out'? Plus if the stuff is made to order, why did she have to send all the ready-made stock back to get amended?! She's tripping over her own lies.

The biggest clanger? 'I'm leaving YouTube!!' (but I'll be back when I need to shill my latest products so see you next week).

Just chipping in my own experience of secondary infertility, prior to having a miscarriage with my second I was fairly accepting that I might only have one child and felt incredibly lucky to have conceived so easily with my first. But after preparing for a second baby and my first born getting excited about being a big brother, once that was taken away from us the struggle to conceive again was more emotionally exhausting.

No it's not comparable with wondering if you'll ever be able to have a child, but I don't think we can devalue people's struggles because other people have it worse- otherwise no one could complain about anything.

I definitely think she's made a good calling time on YouTube though, too many people are stuck in that churn of pointless content and people like Fleur stopped being relatable a long time ago.

My two cents here: she spent days and days deleting comments before she actually realized it was too big to not address the issue.

And when she did address it, she did so by editing an existing post in order to address the issue. This to me equates trying to hide it. If she had been straight with her audience, she might have wanted to create a new post to address the elephant in the room.

But that sounds like that’s because to you, 2 children is clearly the ‘ideal’. Whereas some people are so desperate for just one child and then they see people with one child, complaining about struggling to have another, and those people complaining don’t always seem to see how much of a slap in the fact that can be (either that or they don’t care, who knows). Fleur and Mike fall firmly in to that category

Don’t get me wrong I completely get that it is probably very hard for someone who has no children 100%. But a lot of people struggle with secondary infertility & it think it’s unfair to them to expect them to constantly acknowledge they have a child already. They are struggling too. I know someone who couldn’t have a second & really struggled with her child being an only child.
Why can’t we have sympathy for both?

IMO Raven James sounds like a stripper or porn star, sorry. Or a generic Made in China brand witn two mashed up western sounding names to be classy and fool people. So common in Asia. How did no one in her inner circle help vett the name?

I remember Fleur way back selling bracelets that looked more like friendship bracelets with ribbons?? It was back when they lived on the estate in the cottage and she had woof. I tried to find it to see if I was imagining things but came across this gem.

She gets sent on a trip/hotel stay/event every year by Viktor and Rolf. I couldn’t tell you how many bottles of their perfume I’ve purchased over years. It would be nicer if their loyal customers (you know, the people who spend their own money on the perfume) were able to win a trip like this, rather than see Lady Fleur enjoy another lavish hotel stay she doesn’t deserve and has at this point probably come to expect as a given each year.

She backtracked quite a few times in that video. I’m quitting, I won’t be making videos anymore... I’m not quitting forever I’m just taking a break.. She doesn’t seem to know what she wants, tbh. I don’t think this will be the end of her YouTube either. She will be back next year, I’d bet my life on it. She will never give up the Christmas content on YouTube she makes good money from that. Also very clever of her to drop in the news that she’s launching a brand during that video that she knows will get lots of views..

She gets very emotional talking about fertility. Do you think she has been told she will not be able to have any more kids?

I'll quickly recap the latest drama for anyone who missed it: Fabulous Magazine used the words 'Fleur De Force' on a magazine cover featuring Fleur East, which FDF got pissed about, pointing out that 'Fleur De Force' is her trademark. Did Fleur contact the magazine privately or deal with this via her lawyers? Nope. Mean Girl De Force called Fleur East out on Instagram, set her minions on Fleur East and left a snarky 'Oh hey!' comment on Fleur East's IG. Fleur East then spent the rest of the day defending herself against Fleur's followers, explaining that she doesn't 'write the headlines,' while FDF sat back, laughed, and called her lawyers (probably).

In other news, Fleur, who is looking increasing plastic, got a new nose. She also went on holiday to Cornwall, is just back from Portugal, and has another trip to Portugal booked already, despite the fact that she claims to be anxious about travelling during the pandemic. Oh yeah, this is why we call her Fleur De Liar...

Just watched her “it’s not goodbye” video. I can’t help but feel a bit bitter. She has a loving husband, beautiful house and a flat in London, financially stable and yet you can tell she doesn’t feel fulfilled? I feel like she needs to realise how blessed she is.
