Anyone watched their live stories today? the colour under their nails 🤢
To be fair I bake a lot and their hands could be as clean as a whistle but that food colouring would still be there. I managed to get pink colouring on my hand after doing my sisters gender reveal and had to purposely smother them in blue as well so I didn’t give it away 🤣 I had pink and blue hands for days.

Anyone ever heard of the Hummingbird Bakery? We had a recipe book once and they had these brownies that were brownie, cheesecake and raspberry cream 😱🤤

Yummy!

I used to work around the corner from the Spitalsfield Hummingbird Bakery years ago back when I had this thing called a “disposable income”.

Very very expensive, but very delicious. So much better than L’Etto Caffe which was pretty much a hipster’s Patisserie Valerie, or Hummingbird’s main rival Lola’s Cupcakes which was the equivalent of a sooper duper expensive Millie’s Cookies (not sure if either have changed over the past five years).

Hummingbird’s cupcakes were better than their brownies. The full sized cake slices were okay, but all you could taste was sugar...and their sponges were not dry either.

If you’re reading Finch, all the bakers / patisseries I have mentioned still exist after many years of operation...

Just adding to the brownie chat. I’ve had FB ones and they are awful, so dry and processed. I actually threw half of the box in the bin.

Cake wise, they’re really dry and you can tell it’s cheap ingredients. Never had the brownies though.

Ah I've had the brownies, caramel, chocolate orange and double choc and I love them!
Especially the caramel ones, I've wanted to try cake jars but read mixed reviews so haven't.

I love Finch brownies and order every couple of weeks but I’m not a fan of the cake jars , took me ages at the time to order some as they used to sell out quickly but they are quite dry and too sweet for me .

Agree the cake jars are too much but I love their brownies. I just ordered the winter warmer treat box so I’ll let you all know what I think of the crumble blondies & cookies.

I’m the opposite I really like the cake jars. Vanilla especially- chocolate is dry. Haven’t had any others. Brownies are dry as well sometimes . But the caramel choc ones are nice

Agree the cake jars are dry I had to throw mine away 😭😭 don’t like the brownies either really but the cookies were good. Such a shame
