The posts on here were predominantly positive (hence being in the rave section) and infrequent - it was quiet thread until a couple of days ago.
I didn’t know it existed until they posted about it! I’m a fan tbh, I find them funny and the kids are so cute. Alba is hilarious and kit looks so much like his dad!

I did order some brownies off the back of this thread 🌚 I’ve only tried the cake jars and they were really good so I have high hopes lol

I absolutely do not understand how a parent can fork out for a flash car like a RR but then not give a tit about their child’s car seat??? Like hello, your child’s safety should come above anything else in life 🤔
I do agree they have gone all out crazy about tattle and made themselves look very unprofessional and foolish. I won’t lie, I’ve been a fan for years and follow the bakery and the twins (not the kids account as there’s so much posted already 😂) but I really haven’t enjoyed all of their whining about tattle. Yes some things have been said that they won’t like, but don’t read it? People are entitled to an opinion and just because you happen to read it doesn’t mean people haven’t said the same in real life to a friend. Unfortunately when you are a presence on social media, you open yourself up to this. I also follow tessa and while I thought she was a great girl, around august/early sept as COVID cases started to rise she posted a photo stating she wasn’t following guidance to social distance etc as she wanted to live life, go drinking and hug her friends. She got ripped in the comments from people saying you might survive COVID if you got it but someone you love that you pass it onto might not be so lucky. She deleted the post because she couldn’t stick up for herself and her silly decision and since then I can’t like her the same. Now after this tattle show they’ve done I like them all far less so as someone said above, all they’ve done is drive more people here & brought down their reputation.
Couldn’t agree more. Especially the Tessa thing. Was soooo shocked that she’d go so publicly against all of the guidelines. She seems nice and is very funny but that was a stupid thing to say when you have thousands of followers. Social distancing is for everyone and for the foreseeable unless people keep breaking the rules 🙄 the quicker we all stick to it the sooner we can go back to normal

The social distancing thing bothered me the most. For months they have been stood side-by-side with friends/family in photos (which aren't throwbacks) and seemingly behaving as normal (group holidays, dates, spa days). Maybe I'm just bitter because I've barely seen any family or friends in months and it just feels unfair!
If I recall correctly, both the twins had covid in March/April and they both wrote posts about how terrible the symptoms were, especially in respect to long-covid. I personally don't understand how, when they've actually experienced how nasty it can be, they can continue to break rules and put others at risk? Or at least publicising their behaviour for others to see

Lancashire is in Tier 3, top of the charts for numbers of infections and the local Hospital is at breaking point with covid cases. The Finch Bakery circle live in an area of Lancashire known as the Ribble Valley - which is pretty much inhabited by daddy’s princesses, spoilt children and people who feel they are are way more superior to anyone else - and will do what they want.

Put your child in a safe and correct car seat for her age/weight, pull the straps tight enough and take OFF her coat then the ‘mum police’ might not ‘attack’ you. Idiot
Hallelujah!!! That post made me SOOO angry and the way they reacted to people telling them the child was in danger? “I know best I’m her mum hehehhe” any sensible parent would’ve realised, listened, researched and changed the seat.

I’m from Lancashire not the Ribble valley but I can agree with this 😂😂 but I don’t know them well enough to say if they are or not. It’s an expensive area to live

Didn’t one of the twins say it had really affected her far longer than the time she was ill with it, she had the long term after effects and it also affected her being a mother she was so poorly? Couldn’t get out of bed, lethargic, nerve issues, etc. I completely agree about them living a normal life and not bothering with the guidelines. They flaunted it all over social media, it was clear to see they weren’t distancing or being careful at all. I’ve barely seen anyone face to face, my daughter is growing up with no socialising and as all baby and toddler groups aren’t running and the children’s centres are still closed I can’t even socialise her around people we don’t know 😢 i live down south but a lot of people have said a few people up north aren’t following guidelines or wearing masks and that’s why the cases are so high and quite a few places are in tier 3 lockdown. I’m so sorry if anyone is in tier 2 or 3 lockdown but have been following the rules, I’m in tier 1 but cases are doubling each week in our area and I feel we’re on a ticking time bomb before we’re in tier 2 as well 😢 it’s so unfair on those of us that are sacrificing everything to protect others while other people don’t care and carry on as normal

This page has been fascinating.

Putting my cards on the table I run a similar buisness although I'm all about the product and not interested in becoming insta famous.

I hear all the time how much better my brownies and cakes are than here - not from friends but from customers who would be unlikely to go out of their way to say this unless it was true. My products are very very different to theirs. I use local farms for my eggs and dairy. Where as they seem to use palm oil products. I use high quality vanilla not the low grade synthetic mix they do. This allows them to save a huge amount of money and have a longer shelf life, but their high in Palm oil products are bad for the environment (think of the orangutans!) and for people's health. butter has been shown to be far bettet than these chemically altered oil spreads that their products are loaded in. My products are the same price, I probably make far far less per item but the quality is #1 to me.

Anyone that likes their products I urge to try other places that are less Instagram famous and use better ingredients. No offense to anyone but some people like chocolate that's made with vegetable oil to maximise profits while others prefer high quality chocolate that uses cocoa butter. I only use high quality cocoa butter chocolate in my products.

I hope this doesn't come across as witchy, but I feel so many get lured in by social media for an inferior product and they don't even realise.

Just the words palm oil makes me soooo sad as I love orangutans and I hate what Palm oil factories / farms are doing to their environment. Where is your bakery is it in Lancashire. Personal msg me as I love a good bakery 😂😂 especially one that’s ethically aware. I’m not knocking finch at all I like their products But it’s good to have options 😂😂

Same 👀 I also find the big insta ones are the ones who are overhyped and disappointing when delivered 😂

The fact that they pride themselves that they don’t use butter in their BUTTERcream, they use Tesco own chocolate spread for drips and use cheap nasty products and sell cakes for a premium says a lot.
I’d rather buy something decent than I would buy just for an insta brand.
Their nozzles are mugged off *wilton 2d* with an etching. You’re paying for the brand, it’s no better quality..

What are they using if they don’t use butter 🧐

I have always found their cakes to be super dry.
I feel people don't notice as much because there is so much buttercream on top.
I know some people like the buttercream thing that's double the size of the cake but it puts me off 😂

I don’t think the vanilla ones are but the choc ones are a bit they do crumble slightly. But there is a definite butter cream overload but I love buttercream. Their vanilla cake jars are really nice 🤤

Yeah I think that's my biggest problem with their cakes, I'm not a fan of buttercream haha 😂
Again personal preference though 😂
