I don't think this reflects well on them at all. Before tonight I thought they were loud and a bit unprofessional, but had no strong feeling either way, liked their brownies etc. Their thread on here is tame compared to others. They've read a few posts and gone off about it all over social media, drawing loads of attention to this thread in the process anyway. It's so OTT which is exactly what I didn't really like about them in the first place and such an overreaction it's really just validated what I thought about being unprofessional as well tbh.

This is what someone else was saying, they do the same if someone leaves a bad review or comment on their Instagram, they screenshot it, reply some bitchy comment and then post it on all their stories and Facebook so everyone goes and attacks them

Very unprofessional they are making themselves look like fools

As a business owner myself I definitely would not be ranting the way they do, I've noticed it a few times how they talk.down to people it's awful, very immature it's like they are teenagers. You can't react like this and expect it to be liked. I suspect after this they will have lost more customers. Wait for it they will screenshot it and say we don't care. Well I wasn't aware of this thread until they ranted on FB

They aren't happy about the thread/this site and want it closed but love the publicity of putting their whole lives on instagram every day and using that to pay for their big new houses. Can't have it both ways unfortunately! Hard to feel sympathy when they are so rude and mean to people that don't like their cakes and leave unfavourable reviews. Different when the shoe is on the other foot isnt it huns hehe

I don’t rate the brownies at all. I make postal brownies, and mine are much nicer!

I feel they'll have the Katie Hayes effect; eg; bring way more traffic here and turn people against them

Guilty. I follow their Instagram. I think their cakes look absolutely amazing; my colleagues all rave about them, I just find the Insta can be quite off-putting. I'm barely interested in my friends' children let alone some random bakery owners' children. It's Alba spam (other twin with Kit seems more sensible/less spammy). They have their own kiddie account if people want to coo over children they don't know (weird but acceptable I guess), not sure why it's all over the bakery account?? Especially as Alba just seems to be eating cake all the time. Now I don't have kids, but I have a dog and I'm defo more careful with his diet....!

I’ve never known parents to bin their kids off so quick to go and get drunk or leave them multiple times a year for a holiday. But hey that’s me.

Does anyone find it amusing they’ve now locked down their baby account and made it private? Obviously this has touched a little nerve.
Hopefully their own self obsession will be their undoing as they won’t overshare their private lives now, just their cakes, and personally I think that so many people have been drawn in by their personalities and being involved in their lives and all their little sordid behaviours, as opposed to their wares.
Maybe hire that PR guy you’ve been advised so hard about.

Yeah twitter has gone private. They constantly write stuff in anger and delete it, its just not professional. Upon finding this forum with these posts any professional business would have ignored it. Their products are fantastic, its just themselves that need work. Writing a wall of text on how well they pay their staff and how none of them are on minimum wage entirely contradicts the fact that they themselves wrote the tweet on how they wont be able to afford to live with corbyns "minimum wage increase"; it just makes them look fake. The fact that they worked out the figures entirely wrong did not help. They need to focus their attention inwards, not at people on this forum.

Put your child in a safe and correct car seat for her age/weight, pull the straps tight enough and take OFF her coat then the ‘mum police’ might not ‘attack’ you. Idiot

It's a positive step if anything. They both seem naive to the people that could be viewing all of the photos of their kids! Especially of Alba. Photos in the bath ect.

She complained the first time she ever posted a photo of alba with a big puffy coat on that so many people told her how dangerous it was. Yet continues to do it

People are messaging because it is so unsafe, god forbid she crashed! I would have more respect if she said I didn’t know about this, thank you for the messages. Instead they are very passive aggressive

Also remember that seat was OLD and gifted so not even up to standard. Maybe kit your child out safely in your expensive Range Rover parked on the drive of your new home. A joie is about £70.. sure her safety is worth more.

I absolutely do not understand how a parent can fork out for a flash car like a RR but then not give a shit about their child’s car seat??? Like hello, your child’s safety should come above anything else in life
I do agree they have gone all out crazy about tattle and made themselves look very unprofessional and foolish. I won’t lie, I’ve been a fan for years and follow the bakery and the twins (not the kids account as there’s so much posted already ) but I really haven’t enjoyed all of their whining about tattle. Yes some things have been said that they won’t like, but don’t read it? People are entitled to an opinion and just because you happen to read it doesn’t mean people haven’t said the same in real life to a friend. Unfortunately when you are a presence on social media, you open yourself up to this. I also follow tessa and while I thought she was a great girl, around august/early sept as COVID cases started to rise she posted a photo stating she wasn’t following guidance to social distance etc as she wanted to live life, go drinking and hug her friends. She got ripped in the comments from people saying you might survive COVID if you got it but someone you love that you pass it onto might not be so lucky. She deleted the post because she couldn’t stick up for herself and her silly decision and since then I can’t like her the same. Now after this tattle show they’ve done I like them all far less so as someone said above, all they’ve done is drive more people here & brought down their reputation.

The posts on here were predominantly positive (hence being in the rave section) and infrequent - it was quiet thread until a couple of days ago.
