I used to go to finch bakery quite a lot mainly for the cupcakes and jars...i loved the cupcakes but found the jars to be quite dry. I cant comment on the brownies etc as im not a brownie fan.
I do follow both the finch bakery page and their own personal accounts but tbh i only went on to see Tessas lives she seemed to be the more down to earth/funny one. Nothing really much to say about the twins as i dont know them personally. Their fellas seem nice but clearly the twins are the bosses of those relationships and theyll do as they say. Though i have noticed they have totally changed the way they post since this forum....tagging more businesses...generally being nicer about people online...could be a front i dont know?actually enjoyed reading the comments and you are only saying what people are actually thinking...just like they do

Everyone gets trained in a job they work on, you could be a bloody receptionist, be trained and then move jobs, imagine your old employer getting pissy cause they trained you how to answer the phone and file alphabetically . Fucking piping isn’t a massive skill, most people are self taught!

Personally I don’t mind it. I prefer following ‘people’ and not just businesses it reminds you there’s someone behind the page. I adore Rachel’s little girl she seems so bright and her speech is really good for a 3 year old.

Having said that their rave over Christmas is inexcusable especially with the new strain, one is married to a nurse and they have young kids & older relatives which they are in contact with frequently due to work.

Wholesalers can often have minimum order amounts so if you’re operating out of your kitchen, it can be cheaper picking up stuff on special in your local supermarket or Costco. Especially since the likes of Cadburys and Nestle will not sell for cost price and coffee chains have cornered the sugar wholesalers.

I have seen a lot of recipe books since the 70’s and instagram bakers are not reinventing the wheel - it’s a bit naive to assume “secret recipes” are key to a business when they can easily be obtained and recreated with little effort by someone who knows what they are doing. It always seemed like instagram just made it seem you were supporting a local business and not buying factory made stuff, and that the decorations would be far more appealing and unique.

Essentially, it’s like you’re buying treats off one of your mates AND at the same skill and hygiene levels too - let that sink in...

No, you can’t see how many times, just the people who have viewed. But if you have time to seriously go through the list of people who have watched, then you must have waaaaaay too much time on your hands!

Not to mention calling anyone out would be a ridiculous thing to do as there is no way of them knowing who is a ‘fan’ and who isn’t. Someone who watches every video might just like them

I don’t think George freezes his bakes, he has a cooling room and He once posted a video of all the bakes in that room in massive plastic containers. I use to live for his videos I found him a breath of fresh air now I just skip through them. I won’t order from him cause I can’t justify ghat price and especially for things that’s where made a week prior, don’t know why he doesn’t just do regular postal drops through the week instead of baking all week for one big drop of things that’s are no longer fresh regardless of been sat in a air tight container, fresh to me is made that day or the day before.

Yeah I’m thinking the same, I would imagine after making a new Instagram they would be careful who they have on there, I imagine it’s people they know in real life and friends and family so I’m unsure why one of them would come on here calling them out?

And if any of you aren't parents and are lucky enough to become parents I hope you do a perfect job 24/7 because fuck me you all think you are.

I'm talking to all the hinch bakery fans that come here calling us fat, ugly, jealous, mentally unwell, worthless etc and fail to see the irony.

I wouldn't serve up my children and private life on a locked down private profile with a handful of people I know. Yet this cake shop likes to do it. They're entitled to, but don't complain when people have opinions on it.

Vouchers from an employer is an in work benefit and tax is due on them if someone earns over 8k ish. Makes no difference if it's cash or a voucher.

They've all been made to think we were absolutely slating them and hate their guts.
When in actual fact, before they posted on their Instagram, there wasn't even that much that had been said and a majority of it was about their bakes not them
