Does anyone else wonder if their “sell out” products might be a fraud?!
If you’re only making say 30 trays to sell then of course they’re going to go quick! While people would naturally assume they’ve sold potentially hundreds, and that then keeps people in the “OMG they sell out so quick they must be amazing so I must get some for myself!!” loop.
I follow other accounts who will state “X amount on the site now” but never seen FB mention any numbers.

I don’t like them on Instagram. I think they’re annoying. I liked watching some cake videos but they all seemed the same, but I suppose if that’s what people order then that’s what they make. I unfollowed them a few weeks ago because they post 100 times a day and I don’t know if it’s my Instagram but they always showed up top on my feed even though I never commented or liked their stuff a friend of mine sent me this so I felt compelled to read I don’t mind their brownies, I’ve actually ordered a few times. The cake jars aren’t good though. Too sickly and taste like frozen cake. I do have to say though don’t they have like 20+ staff?? So they must be making more than 30 trays to pay their wages? Even if they’re on minimum wage that’s at least 20k a month plus overheads I think they’re doing all right for themselves to afford that and pay themselves. I don’t think I’d post numbers on my products because I wouldn’t want people knowing how much I was making. That’s what companies house is for

Oh I forgot to mention, a couple of months ago they were breaking all social distancing guidelines and were just fully taking the piss so my friend commented on one of their posts basically saying wtf and that night they just blocked her? and then tbe next day

Yeah I reckon they do sell v well. You’d be surprised how far people would travel just to visit the bakery, I used to drive all the way from Leeds just for a blondie fix lol. They used to sell out within hours so we’d leave really early and even if we got there at opening a lot of the time they’d have sold a huge stack of blondies / brownies already. I feel like if they sell that well in person they must do really well online.

Funnily enough, we stopped supporting the bakery due to some controversial political comments they made which came off very rude and condescending so we bought the recipe they previously said they used for blondies and have learnt how to make our own! Lol

Rachel's chin points to the right and Lauren to the left... (I think?) I remember them saying on one of the lives when somebody asked how to tell them apart. Odd looking pair...I have a friend who knows them and says people used to call them the chin twins. She also said Lauren is the more stuck up one.

I don't think they seem like nice people at all. The fact they are massive Tories who are majorly out of touch with reality is so off putting. Can't remember which, but I saw one of them on twitter a while ago slating people on benefits and being very classist. The tweet from Lauren moaning about having to pay her staff more under Corbyn is disgusting tbh. Its a joke for them to pretend that they would ever have to worry about money and an insult to people who are actually living in poverty. Very telling that they didn't address the free school meals thing too...

They come across so witchy on insta, I just don't get why they are like that? Weird behaviour

That’s awful but sadly doesn’t surprise me now. I hate people that just block because they don’t like what you’ve said even though it’s a valid point! They did do a lot of things that they posted online that seemed to be too back to normal in a pandemic. It’s probably why they aren’t so popular and were being written about here Tell us where the blonde recipe is from please

I like them but I went on one of their partners Instagram’s and he was with with people who weren’t his partner and child watching the rugby, so not stocking to bloody lockdown!!
Maybe this is why up north fly got so bad as some not stocking to the bloody rules!!

I think you all must follow their personal accounts but I never have so maybe I’ve missed some things they’ve posted. I’m neutral because I don’t see their posts as influency, I’ve never seen them talk to the camera or do paid posts, I think their cakes are average but they seem pretty normal people to me. The most I’ve seen is a few holiday pics and their kids (who are really cute actually). I think the problem is they’ve probably blown up over night with a big following and they don’t realise it’s a serious business. But saying that I only followed them for a year so I don’t know how long they’ve been going. They’ll either fail (although I’m sure with so many staff and fans lol they probably won’t) or get bigger and bring in more help on the business side. I think fair play to them tbh. I’d love to be earning lots of money making cakes for a living

I like them! I’ve actually follow them for ages on all accounts. It surprises me people say they show off, I never see them post designer clothes (they tag there clothes when people ask just zara and h&m e.t.c) or their cars, just Rachels house recently but not a lot and their kids. They don’t pose or do ads like other influencers they just seem like normal people to me. Have to say cakes are average though I’ve tried a couple of times and nothing special.

I went to school with the twons and tess, total mean girl/rich parents/snobby bullies. Nothing much has changed, they’ve done extremely well for themselves (see the new house pics!) but all off the back of daddy

I used to go to finch bakery quite a lot mainly for the cupcakes and jars...i loved the cupcakes but found the jars to be quite dry. I cant comment on the brownies etc as im not a brownie fan.
I do follow both the finch bakery page and their own personal accounts but tbh i only went on to see Tessas lives she seemed to be the more down to earth/funny one. Nothing really much to say about the twins as i dont know them personally. Their fellas seem nice but clearly the twins are the bosses of those relationships and theyll do as they say. Though i have noticed they have totally changed the way they post since this forum....tagging more businesses...generally being nicer about people online...could be a front i dont know?actually enjoyed reading the comments and you are only saying what people are actually thinking...just like they do

It’s a bit of a jump to make that assumption on the basis of the behaviour of these two and their families. There are other factors in why the rate is so high in certain areas. However I would expect a nurse to stick to the lockdown rules. I was also surprised when they recently mentioned “this lockdown nonsense” in a post on FB.

The blondie recipe is from Leticia bakes! It’s very in depth and you get sent a PDF once you buy it, it’s only £2 as well and I swear to god tastes exactly the same.

I've noticed since this thread they have changed the tone of their posts and fair play to them. It's their business after all and maybe it's just what needed to be done.
