So I work for Royal Mail and j think it’s a bit crappy them saying they need a dependable and consistent service.
i understand these strikes are tit for everyone but put yourself in our shoes. We do not want to strike But don’t really have much of a choice cos of what the CEOs are trying to do to the company
Just think they could have worded it a bit better

They are sitting at half there orders because there’s a cost of living crisis and not everyone wants a sugar coma

Maybe cos their products look tit no one is buying them?🤪
They can’t blame the Royal Mail for no one ordering their products. The issue is clearly no one is ordering, if Royal Mail was the issue they’d have the same order numbers but customer complaints about them arriving even more stale then normal; though not sure how you could tell

This is what I keep saying. They are blaming everything but themselves.
Before the strikes, it was Instagram they were blaming for not showing their posts.
Yet got a bunch of orders when they offered money off. So clearly people were seeing their posts.

Is it any wonder they aren’t selling when you pay £20 for a box of brownies but they have cornflakes on em???! Who’s gonna want that. I’ve not eaten a cornflake cake since I was about 8

They need to realise we are in a cost of living crisis. I’m not skint or struggling by any means and I wouldn’t go out and spend £20 randomly on some cake if it wasn’t an occasion! 🫣

We are not skint - feel privileged to be in a decent position (at the moment) it's my sons birthday this weekend and I wouldn't spend their prices! Full stop!
when we they realise when there is a cost of living crisis or fuel goes up/food goes up/heating goes up etc one of the first luxuries people will stop is 'random' treats like cakes.
Most people I know would put nail/eyelash appointments ahead of cakes too.

they are not a necessity - they are a added luxury. People don't owe them.
the indi businesses do my head in too - yes I'd use the milkman over asda or the local butchers over Morrisons to help.
But i wouldn't 'just cos lol' but brownies and stuffed cookies for the gram from asda for £3 I'm sure as hell not going to waste £30 on some burnt ones to help fund the Range Rover or next Zara haul.

I always think this, I work in catering and we wouldn’t get away with this!
When I worked in catering I got them done for my Holiday and still had them on when I got back and my manager told me to remove them asap. There’s are long as well!!!

Burnt again 🙃 What is their obsession with corn flakes !’nView attachment 1669474
I also don’t get them trying to make things a thing? Like they’re obviously ripping off a cornflake tart but instead of it being in pastry it’s on a cookie? Those flavour combos just don’t go together for me. The same way shoving a batten burg in everything doesn’t. I mean shop bought cake baked in to cookies, blondies, brownies and cakes is the epitome of laziness

What is the obsession with adding weird stuff to brownies, blondies etc? If I were them I’d try making the basics and doing it well, move into stuff like bread or whatever. All that sugar gives me a stomach ache just looking at it 🤢

Couldn’t agree more. Batten burg is gross and dry anyway why would you add it to a brownie?? Have they ever heard less is more ?!!!
