I dont see anything wrong with leaving one child at home she's a baby and probably won't get it. it's albas birthday present too. We took our 3 kids 7, 4 and 10 month old to disneyland a few year ago and my 10 month old absolutely hated it! He cried for the full 3 days looking back I'd of definitely left him at home with nana

Yes, didn't they put a post up saying they'd sold 10k of the yule log recipes? They were more expensive last christmas so they'll have made more, but even at £2.50 per download that's still nearly 25k.

The small business angle doesn't ring true when you've got massive houses you're kitting out, big cars, endless holidays and a staff team. Just cut your losses and put it down to experience.

My little cousin sent me a box of ‘finch goodies’ which are like huge brownie bar things. I can’t even describe how bad they are! She ordered them for fast delivery. They are stale to the point of inedible. They weigh loads but are genuinely just a mix of heavy sugary goop. Anyone tempted to buy from here I really wouldn’t waste your money. I have had things when they first started that were really good but those days are long gone

Was at The Mall today. Can confirm that Lidl brownies are much better than the Finch ones. Was there early afternoon and their outlet was not busy. Bought some brownies for my kids. Wouldn’t buy again.

mom a teacher and I’m very lucky to be off over Christmas but I still have planning, assessments, displays and the plans for special needs children to do. Needless to say I don’t have the salary to have a new Range Rover like the twons. Teachers don’t get paid for the hours they work each week so our time off is our ‘annual leave’ then the fact we’re not even paid for the hours the children spend in school let alone the extra. Hate their sarcy comments trying to put everyone else down, doesn’t look like they’ve done all that much work over Christmas based on their insta. They’re boss babes but only if it profits themselves, quite happy to belittle everyone else.

Then when someone asks if they can order baked goods they say they aren’t open for the week, so the post was pointless. Not many hospitality based jobs have a whole week off at Christmas, they could do New Years cakes

It's hilarious the way they cover burnt biscuits with ganache/buttercream/chocolate spread. Whoever bakes the biscuits needs some training.

I dont know what's classed as a small business really, but are they really a small business anymore?
A shop, a factory type thing with a bunch of staff, products in shops across the country, a permenant stall in another shop.
Enough profit to buy themselves 2 big houses and fund multiple holidays abroad?

Very hard to have any sympathy for them when they're off on their 4th or 5th holidays abroad whilst others are struggling to decide if they can afford heating.

Yeah I wonder this too. Are they classed as a 'small' business. Just been to Disneyland aswell. Which people could only dream of doing. I've nothing against people spending their own money how they want (obviously) but to be going on and on about shopping small. No offense but no, that's the first things people stop buying. And rightly so in all fairness! Especially when shit is either bone dry or burnt or both. The quality of their goods don't reflect the price of them. And I think it's them that need to take a step back and wonder why they're starting to struggle and tbh it's nothing to do with a cost of living crisis. Their bakers can't bake.

Picked some finch b up from the Manchester one.

The cookie was mediocre. The blondie is shocking if your local to Barrowford Blondie Brownoe hands down beat these by a mile cheaper and tastier.

The old school card is crumbly and well bog standard nothing special.
