I agree, these are products that are meant as a treat, and given people are struggling with the rising cost of living and petrol prices, worrying about the rise again in October..people won’t be splashing out on a box of brownies when basic essentials at the supermarket have risen by 50p-£1.. they need to get into the real world!

They seem to be getting a bit desperate with their business. Asking others if they want to stock their cakes (which don’t get me wrong is a good idea) now the milkshake thing. I guess in a cost of living crisis people stop treating themselves which is sad for people who run businesses like those.

It would be an odd choice if they only had a baby. But they don’t. They have an older child that wanted to go. So it would make sense to go as a family… on the family holiday.

I think this is very true, I dont think they realise people are also probably buying less because their food is shit. To begin with I think a lot of their sales were hype and first time buyers that haven’t turned into repeat customers. Now the pandemic has cooled down and people have better things to do than waste money (a lot of money) on stuff they can make themselves that’s so much nicer and cheaper. Or, buy it elsewhere. Even in a cost of living crisis some people still buy luxuries, but are more selective and stop the frivolous splurges on tat. They are tat. The first place they should start is quality.
Blackburn centre is a ghost town, on its busier footfall days its pensioners, scrotes and skint students largely making up the crowds. Not the types you’d expect to regularly shell out £££ on takeaway cake.
There’s a Krispy Kreme unit just round the corner too. And they do things like cater for vegan and have lots of deals & freebies on the app.

Tbh I think it's fine anyway for a child to be raised knowing that sometimes treats are for their siblings and not for them? When I was a kid, if I didn't want to do the treat day out for my siblings, I/we had the option of going to my grandparents' house or other relatives and I loved it. I would find it really strange if someone begrudged their older sister a trip to Disney when they were a literal baby if I'm honest! It's not like it's a pattern either, if they carried on doing it when Inka is old enough to enjoy this kind of thing then I'll absolutely agree, but right now it's a one off.
Also worth remembering a lot of Alba's life will have changed from being the only child and getting all the attention to having a baby in the house who now (rightly) gets a lot of their parents' attention and that's a big adjustment for a small child. Maybe they're giving Alba an opportunity to spend the day alone with her parents before she starts school, that's important too.

They used to post on their stories boxes and boxes of brownies already packaged up ready for posting that we’re sat on the counter and I always wondered how long they were there for and after a day they’d be stale if they were sent out. I don’t know how they have the audacity tbh
