I've grown to really like the Finch girls. If people are going to pick fault with everything then there's always going to be something isn't there?
Some things I wanted to comment on :
● Alba having a youtube channel is cute and it's better and safer for her not to be affiliated with FB. I love that kid.
● Nursery workers do generally offer outside babysitting services. If I was rich enough I would definitely offer childminding at my wedding
● a five month old baby trying a raspberry is not the end of the world. I love it when the judgey mum's come out with their one child to give their opinion. Come back and comment when you've had another and you're ever so slightly more nuanced
● Isabelle's shop doesn't open very often and has an entirely different business model. Let's face it, if she woke up tomorrow with a 200k new followers, everyone would start hating on her
● I find the comments about Rachel(?)'s dress size weird but I think they came from Tessa and she has a fixation
● Weird that Tessa is more widely liked when I've seen her do far worse on social media.

The petal ganache plate looks bloody hard work! £16 for 2 pieces of acrylic, uses 3 blocks of butter, then need to flip the cake to get the bottom plate off then flip the cake back again to get the top plate off. Wouldn't a petal shape cut inside a circle then placed over the top or under the bottom of a butter creamed cake then scraped up or down be easier and use less ingredients? Or something designed more like the overpriced frostform?
I make the odd cake, I'm not a pro so always looking for tips and help but this does not interest me at all. Looks complicated for a pretty basic effect. I've never ordered any of their equipment but have ordered their brownies, cake jars and cookies in the past, all nice enough but nothing special really and their Instagram account is unprofessional gash most of the time.

Aren't people allowed to say they don't like the baking equipment?
The YouTube thing is an each to their own thing.
I personally don't agree with any child being on YouTube.
What was said about Rachel's dress size?
I will say though, I don't get the fascination with Tessa personally
I feel like people only like her because she tries to be funny all the time.
How is it better and safer for her not to be affiliated with finch on YouTube? I also thought under YouTube’s new guidelines children had to approve what is posted of them and I’m not sure a 5-year old can do that
Also Isabelle isn’t opening as often but she’s selling out more then them and isn’t having to reduce cakes like they do

She had covid and a newborn give her a break. She did the best she could. Pat on the back for you if you could function whilst having covid and a newborn xAll their’s and their friends parties just look so extra, it’s like watching a real housewives programme
I’m actually surprised how low key their kids birthdays are considering how they love an over the top celebration
Was it Kit that didn’t even get a birthday cake on his 2nd birthday? If I remember rightly he had a plate of brownies with the topper from his first birthday, and she had ripped a number 2 off one of his birthday cards and taped it onyet they manage to get themselves toppers for their own cakes - like what do they even do with them all afterwards? Do they just have a collection somewhere of a load of wooden/acrylic toppers that have Rachel & Lauren 26,27,28,29,30?
And I’m sure she blamed it on having just had Wren and having covid, yet she knew she was due around his birthday for 9 months, she surely could have ordered it weeks/months in advance?
She had a husband who could have pulled his weight. And numerous family members and friends. No excuse in all fairness.

I don't see the difference in what Alba is doing to any parent posting about their kid on social media to be honest.
Paraphrasing because my memory is appalling Tessa referenced whichever twin got married's dress size in a kind of "who tf cares anyway when you're a size 6 on your wedding day" something like that. I thought it was weird but if they want to measure their worth based on their dress size then more fool them I guess.

There isn't a difference. But I don't agree with either, personally.
I don't recall any of that about the dress size. But I don't follow any of the twins or Tessa.
Isabelle opens three days a week I think and has far less produce. Personally her products are more to my taste although I've never tried them, she's done amazingly well for herself but it's hardly a fair comparison. To be fair, however you want to look at this the Finch girls gave her a good leg up.
R.e the youtube thing, I don't know what the guidelines are. I think it's safer not to have your child affiliated with a business account. I think it's pretty obvious why.
I think what your alluding to could happen on both a business and a child personal account. I think it’d be easier found if it’s a channel dedicated to a child.
Isabelle opens 4 days a week including her late night and when I’ve been she has similar amounts of items as finch. She just doesn’t do the postal but still does wedding and celebration cakes. She got a boost from finch but if fans were loyal to finch and liked their produce surely she wouldn’t have the amount of business she does
i agree - Amazon prime and ebay all do toppers for a 2 year olds birthday
It says three days on her insta. I'm so uninterested in comparing the two, she seems to be doing amazingly but the businesses are totally different in size.
Isabakes haven't got as many staff as finch so she won't open that much. Also complaining that I said them ganache plates look tit they sell them on etsy and I think they're equally as tit on there

Fair play to Rachel she did say 'we don't usually use that vulgar word in this house' and 'Alba you mustn't say that' another time but Tessa calling a not yet 4 year olds Dad 'C**ty Dec' in front of Alba was a bit too much.

Eeep yes that’s a bit strong, im not opposed to swearing but I wouldn’t be using stronger ones in front of kids, especially Alba who seems very brightDid anyone watch the live last night
