Talking of pugs and ‘fake posh accents’ does anyone remember Eleanor was really quite friendly with Charlotte [ The home that made me, something like that, sorry can remember exact name / handle ]

Anyway Charlotte had a big following at the time, lot bigger then Eleanor and quite often would tagging E in her stories and I think she definitely helped send followers to Elle.

Anyway as E account got bigger I sensed Eleanor didn’t want to be associated with Charlotte.
I feel she used her whilst she needed her and then just dropped her. She then made new Insta friends like Sally, Cara and Anna M - more on her level?

I might of got this completely wrong but just wonder if anyone else remembers this friendship and what are your thoughts?

Yes, that's how I first came across her account, she wrote a post on THTMM blog, Charlotte had quite a big account and I think you're right it did get Elle a lot of new followers. That was back when she was trying to be an interiors account and bit by bit, she started speaking more and more about Teddy and it turned more into baby loss awareness.

I could never understand on the rave thread here, people that were defending her over and over, it was like they only knew her as a the baby loss spokesperson, not realizing that she spent a long time accepting all the White Company candles, Bobbi Brown lipsticks and washing machines and was just as bad as RVK and Hunters & Heels and the rest of them in terms of flogging whatever she could get her hands on. There were plenty of #ads and #gifted but she was never held to the same standard as the rest of them.

Also I agree with the whole Ask Me His Name / Don't Ask Me Her Name thing. I know that we do know her name now, but the way she's gong about it all is very strange. Will be very interesting to see if she's agreed to a photo in the book (assuming she hasn't put one on IG before the book release).

This is absolutely how I see it. They did actually meet up a couple of times as well - all documented for the 'gram obvs.

But I got the impression it irritates Eleanor that Charlotte always says that their husbands work for the same company when Joe is definitely more backroom in Bournemouth whereas Nico is a high flying trader in Canary Wharf. I can't explain it - just a vibe I got from her.

I remember endless gifting you ate absolutely right.
I wonder if her followers mostly came later and know her only as a baby loss account so aren’t aware?

I loathe the rave threads as to me they seem like some kind of teen fan clubs where the personal is idolised. I’d defend anyone if I felt a comment isn’t fair whether is a rave thread or not. No one is just good or bad person and this threads are for discussion. That rave thread seems full of crazed loyal fanatics

I mostly mentioned Charlotte as I wondered if they ate still in touch or has Eleanor discarded her after her own account had become bigger and not ‘just’ interior account

Yes I remember all of that. Charlotte looks great mind . But very much an odd friendship. Love her pug too 😂. Please don’t hate on me. I follow Cara and tbh they’re all very samey now. Bland colours and not much to say on anything. I won’t unfollow as I really like to wind myself up watching privileged people with boring homes.

I 100% agree! You are right
I also remember C saying about husband working together and more then one occasion. Yes E would be so p****d off!

I’ve never followed Cara. I only know who she is because I used to read Rock my Style/family etc. She once done a guest blog post which did not come across at all well and received lots of negative feedback. I avoided her after that 😂

Did she have an insta account pre Teddy then? It was it created afterwards but just focused more around interiors?
