I told my SIL about this thread as she was the one who Elle belittled, brushed aside and blocked when she reached out to her. Her bloody book asked people to reach out to her, but that's a whole other story.
I agree, she was all ears if you're someone with celebrity connections - so ironic as my SIL works in PR and has many, Elle only needed to ask 😂
Anyway, cut to the chase. Told SIL that others had similar experiences and she already knew as she's spoken out to other people who've also been treated the same, including one lady who also lost her baby full term just like Elle.
As I said previously, she owes nothing to anyone, but don't preach the whole 'reach out to me' narrative if you're going to just block people who are feeling emotionally vulnerable. Don't tell people what they can and can't say to someone experiencing a loss when you turn around to them to say their loss "isn't as bad as" yours. I've heard people say she's aa nice as pie in real life if she needs something, but equally she will be rude and step on others if they are beneath her or serve her no purpose. Reading how she's rude to shop staff etc comes as no surprise. I just really detest people who treat others differently according to what they have or what they can exploit them for. Treat the CEO and the cleaner exactly the same and you'll honestly go so much further in life Elle. And if you don't want people reading out to you, then don't ask for it when promoting your books.
I feel she's exploited her loss and she's exploiting women who have experienced a loss. There's no doubt she has helped charities and families, but she's definitely profited from them too. I'm sorry if that offends anyone but it's the truth and it really doesn't sit well.

New book is called a bump in the road
Oh I didn’t realise Gi Fletcher had put her foot in it 😂. I also agree with others that there is no way Eleanor would fall out with Gi. You know she wants to be a McFly girl. Maybe they will sign Nico up for their next reunion tour 🎸. Bump In the Road - just my opinion but funny title to me. Oh well each to their own, maybe after the book release she will remember her daughter has a name and not just an initial 🙄🙄

Btw she calls herself Eleanor on her Facebook page, so she does use that name sometimes ✅✅

Is it just me that finds that name really inappropriate? Is that all that the loss of Teddy, multiple miscarriages & endless fertility treatment was to her? Just a “bump in the road”? To me that makes it sound really minor, no big deal. Maybe I’m making too much of it but it sounds quite flippant.

I interpreted it as the bump is (or was) her literal bump being pregnant again, isn’t the book about pregnancy after loss? Might be wrong though.

These stories of her being fool are really saddening, I’ve followed her for ages and shared her blog & book with friends who went through similar. Feel a bit duped.

Talking of Facebook I'm friends with Eleanor good friend. I looked at her photo's and the last pic they had together was in 2016 and before that they always had pics together. Looks like even her friends has jumped ship, maybe she treated them just like she has treated her followers?? I think I'm going to message her and find out and see if they are still in contact.

If you go onto the Waterstones website you can find the book cover and a synopsis of the book. I think it said the release date is 3rd March. Hence why Eleanor is now trying to engage, so fake 🙄🙄

Be prepared to be blocked if you question/criticise her in any way, such saying.

I think you’re right about the bump, but it’s still a rubbish title! Bumps in the road aren’t a nice thing 🤔

Also I feel similarly duped.

I Google searched for the meaning 😳😳View attachment 415014
Reading the synopsis for her next book. I think it’s more about, the Journey from loss, to trying again, with ivf treatment etc rather than pregnancy with O. Probably another book to write on that topic.

Synopsis

'It turns out there are plenty of us: the unlucky ones. The women whose journey into motherhood, or whose yearning for more children, has yet to be fulfilled by the universe. I am certain that in so many parts of my story I really am not the only one to have gone through it, so it makes sense to write it all down. For all of us - and for any parents who might go through some of what we did in the future too. So here it is, our journey to a rainbow. A story of fertility, trying again and, above all, hope.' After the death of her three-day-old son Teddy in 2016, Elle Wright never expected what came next - that the path to bringing home a living child could be so winding. Elle's loss was followed by three and a half years of endless waiting. She and her husband waited for test results, hospital appointments and so many new procedures to help with their experience of secondary infertility. This wait included friends announcing their happy news whilst Elle was experiencing three rounds of IVF and more loss, including a much-wanted second baby at just 15 weeks. Months and years slipped by, of immense physical and emotional toll, and still those two lines were just out of reach. Faced with constant questions, drugs, negative tests, tears, loss, frustration and so many more tears, throughout it all Elle managed to still believe that one day it would happen for her, somehow... A Bump in the Road reflects the reality of becoming a parent for thousands of people like Elle who have difficulty conceiving in the UK today. It captures Elle's journey to a rainbow, comforting through her beautifully written words with a story of fertility that might just reflect yours, too.

Having personally found out how fake Eleanor is, I won’t be spending any of my hard earned money on any of her books 😏😏

Well she blocked me from mu personal account (but still follows me from my sizeable business account) I’ve unfollowed her as can’t be doing with someone who blocks people. I hadn’t said anything or commented. Just blocked.

I’ve just seen her latest post. I know her kitchen cost £100k but her interior is so unbelievably vanilla. The tiles, the wall, the chairs. It’s like an igloo in there.
