Has anyone tried ‘Profumum Roma Battito D'ali’? It’s suggested as a possible replacement for Jo Malone’s Blue Agave and Cacao? They do offer samples to purchase, so might pick one up…but wondering if anyone has tried it?

I found a sample of Over the Musk, thought it might do my daughter in place of Glossier, looked up the price and maybe not! Why are these types of perfume so expensive when the ingredients are cheap?! Can anyone suggest a dupe?

What about this one from perfume parlour. They do dupes that are a good price. I have used this company before and they are usually quite a good match to the original.

Thank you I tried it today; been a bit out of perfume obsession recently (no excuse but had a baby perfume is perfume) and I usually use baccarat rouge 540 extrait; but it’s a winter smell to me (it just smells wintry on me) so I’m looking for a summer smell but I’m not a huge fan of fruity coconut type scents. Sorry for banging on x

Do you like musk perfume? Ella K - Musk K is dreamy. Its very similar to glossier you but a better version - longer lasting and better projection. Its dreamy ! There is also Room 1015 - Sonic Flower ( very similar to Ella K but is more floral but not a granny floral). Both are pretty, feminine florals.

re kilian - have you tried moonlight in heaven? This is described as coconut but its not the coconut that your thinking of - infact i dont think of this as coconut at all. Its certainly not the coconut smell that coconut products generally are. Its a little beachy and its fresh . Downside is the longevity is a bit crap for the price.

@readyplayerson mentioned Delina - La Rosee . This is on a to buy list - it is a floral/fruity perfume though.

I have Safa by Arabiyat Prestige. It's a fantastic dupe with awesome projection and longevity.

Love this review, I have this one coming in april. I’ve liked all of the Ormond Jayne I’ve tried so far from Scentbird. Champaca is on its way next, hoping it is as good as the others

Hope you like Damask when it arrives . It is lovely - only downside is I thought it was mediocre on performance .

Vinted annoyingly now say you can’t sell it unless it’s brand new, I had a white company room spray removed bc I’d written in the listing that a couple of sprays had been used Google says eBay is the same

I have a discontinued perfume on there that’s still there. It’s been decanted from as well. Try the perfume without the word “used”.

I also have had room sprays removed before actually now I think of it even though there were others the same as mine listed!

How do you feel about Versace Bright Crystal? It’s been around a while and I remember wearing it years back. I’ve just sprayed some on at an airport and don’t think it’s too overpowering but I’m absolutely hopeless in judging if something is ‘too much’ as smell trends change.

Just purchased Carolina Herrera Good Girl Jasmine Absolute with 20% off after sampling it in Boots and falling in love. Not a fan of the others in the range, but this is right up my street - creamy, sweet gourmand goodness. Longevity is fantastic too. Also received a sample of Miss Dior Essence, but haven’t tried it yet.

Im the same, I only have a sample but will definitely be looking into getting a bottle.

I’m a fan you get your first month half price then after that it’s £24.55 a month and you get to pick your own fragrances - I picked from the platinum collection which tends to be more niche fragrances but they do a standard and middle tier too depending on what you’re into. Just to clarify I’m in no way an influencer or affiliated with them I’m just at a stage in life where I don’t know any of the cool perfumes anymore as I always wear the same ones

I’ve had a look and they have lots I want to try! If you pay for the platinum can you change it if you want something from the cheaper collection ?

SOTD Kayali Eden Plush Pear. I love a pear note and this is so good!! It reminds me a bit of the pear drop sweets from when I was a kid!

Unpopular opinion - kayali fragrances. Tried two; the pistachio one made me smell like cherry Bakewell and the wedding night one I wasn’t a fan. Am I missing something? I really like delina atm and angel dust

I bought their discovery set and nothing really was amazing to my nose but I do like the Eden one I think? Then I bought a two set x 5ml of yum boujie marshmallow and yum pistachio gelato and YBM is right up my street. Bought a 50ml shortly afterwards!

Joined scentbox these are in my scent calendar- I’m trying to push my boundaries and try different ones. Any that are an utter no?

They look like good choices - only comment i have is that the Caroline Herrera is a lighter version of the original Good Girl . Which one did you choose to come first?
