Hey everyone, just wondered what your best delina dupes were please?

Thank you I tried it today; been a bit out of perfume obsession recently (no excuse but had a baby perfume is perfume) and I usually use baccarat rouge 540 extrait; but it’s a winter smell to me (it just smells wintry on me) so I’m looking for a summer smell but I’m not a huge fan of fruity coconut type scents. Sorry for banging on x

I’ve never tried either of the baccarats but do want to try the extrait. I don’t think it’s coconutty (not to my nose, I love a coconut note!) it’s more vanilla powdery. The only things I like for summer that aren’t fruity are Kilian Princess, Delina La Rosee and most of my musks (acne studios, Blanche absolu and musk k) otherwise everything I wear in summer is fruity/coconutty/citrusy!
Don’t apologise for talking about perfume, I will talk about it till the cows come home if I have the chance

SOTD - M&S Midnight Blossom (the black opium dupe). For £7 I’m impressed!

I bought the Zara Gardenia today which is also a dupe for Black Opium (I didn't know that when I got it).
So far I love it. It's starts really quite tobaccoey, but now sitting here it's quite sweet, sort of like black cherries? I've never tried Black Opium so no idea how accurate it is tbh. 30ml is £9.99.

I’ve loads of dupes, it was a way for me to try out things I couldn’t sample in the shops. I’ve always used perfume parlour as they do small 3ml samples and are nearly always a good copy but desired scents seem to have a lot more choice of niche and unusual fragrances and they also sell samples so I’m trying them out at the moment.

I used to wear Christian Dior Dune back in the 90’s. Is this still available? I loved it.

I wore it tonight to the symphony (look at me, so cultured) and it's been fantastic! I do need to trial a full day but it wears much nicer on than from the bottle (I'm sure there's a proper term for whatever that is) so I think it's a winner. So grateful you told me of this site. I swear, I did try googling before and didn't get anywhere promising. Positive feedback from you and @Also_smoke_and_mirrors (thank you!) sealed the deal!

I am replying to myself here in case anyone else orders internationally - I got hit with a bill from FedEx for $17 maybe 10 days after delivery. So there's that to bear in mind. Next time, buy a larger bottle

SOTD - Ormond Jayne . Damask

After someone mentioned that they had a Scentbird subscription i went and had a look ( and mulled it over for a few days). Decided i would try it out as there were a few perfumes i wanted to try. The perfume arrived yesterday so I am trying it today. Its very nice - it has a similar dna to PDM - Delina but its much sharper and a bit green. So far i like it.

Anyone who buys Armani Power of You, don’t spray it on your clothes if you’re wearing white or cream because it comes out purple and I have purple splotches all over my blouse hopefully it comes out in the wash!

Ugh, I had the same issue with Kayali Vanilla 28. Dark purple splotches over a brand new white t shirt. Luckily it did wash out

How do you feel about Versace Bright Crystal? It’s been around a while and I remember wearing it years back. I’ve just sprayed some on at an airport and don’t think it’s too overpowering but I’m absolutely hopeless in judging if something is ‘too much’ as smell trends change.

I love the original pink one! I’ve had the yellow one too but I’m not so fussed on the new green one.
It’s a bit of a sentimental one for me, my late MIL used to buy me massive bottles of it for Christmas. I’m going away next week and you’ve actually prompted me to have a look in duty free as I’ve not had it for ages.

I came across Jo malone on tiktok talking about her Zara perfumes. I thought they’d be a bit crap, considering it was a collaboration with Zara, so when I was in store, I tried the popular ones, fashionably London and magnificent Dubai on each wrist. Does anyone have either of these?

Hello . That line of Diptyques is so much more expensive but it's so beautiful. I think they have a sample set of all of them but they have dabber bottles and I know I'd pour the whole thing over myself as always . Haha well we are coming up to spring now (although it doesn't feel it ) so you can stash your angels share away until the autumn now. Was it your most worn perfume this winter?

Oh wow how long have you been collecting them for? You should 100% keep your empties and review them, and also to see if there's a pattern with what you're using up and what's taking longer to work through. Like I find I go through citrus and other bright scents really quickly but there are some scents I love but can only wear on limited occasions and I can talk myself out of buying something by recognising that pattern. Do you keep your perfumes in shoeboxes to preserve them? I have about 25 ish perfumes overall, ranging from small 15ml bottles to 30ml and 50ml, and 2 100mls. I'm trying to put all my fragrances into chatgpt to see if it can decipher if I have a favourite scent profile or pattern and it said that the noir 29 should be my long term signature scent profile and to be honest that's quite spot on, I do love that perfume.

Yes, let me know. I do love a good tuberose scent, especially now we're getting into spring. I haven't tried many dior scents I have to say, I do love J'adore though and still have a sample of Gris Dior. I always struggle to know when the best season / occasion to wear Gris Dior is though, when do you normally wear it?

What is apom by MFK? Is it an expensive one again

Hi I've been collecting for about 2 years. Started with la vie est belle and it went from there it's the thing I love spending my money on. Handbags are too expensive what about yourself? I would love to try the noir! How is it? I think they do 15mls

I can't remember if I mentioned this but I purchased the new j'adore intense. Think there was 20% off or something on boots. It's lovely however I do prefer j'adore l'or. Gris Dior is lovely. I don't reach for it as much but it is very pleasant. Would suit men especially. Mine has weirdly changed to a clear colour over time but it still smells fine

Apom by maison Francis kurkdjian is a lovely floral. Only had a sample of it. I think it's about 135 euro for 35ml of it so I may buy in the future.

I blind bought valaya exclusif by pdm last week. I really am mad doing blind buys but luckily I love it! I swear I could still smell it on me about 10 hours later! Only bought a small bottle

Was coming through the airport yesterday and gave Virgin Island Water another go (I really really want to like it) but the initial spritz is waaaaaaaay too limey and citrusy...

So the woman on the stand gave me a spritz of the brand new Wild Vetiver as well. Very unisex, but too blackcurrenty or peppery for me. But as I was walking around giving it the odd sniff I sniffed the wrong hand and Virgin Island Water had turned into an incredibly creamy skin scent! Is this new?! It never did this before?!

I am trialling Thameen - Patiala today . I am liking it . It’s a nice little floral.

I ended up buying a 10ml bottle of this off ebay for £25 . I liked it and think i will want to wear it in the spring. Trying to avoid buying full size bottles due to the ever expanding collection (unless I LOVE it ).

Has anyone tried the new DVF x Estée Lauder water based fragrance IN CHARGE?

I havent heard of this either but now i want to try it . £62 for 30ml isnt too bad price wise.
