The longevity of 4711 ain’t that great; be very similar scent.
I got the travel size of the neroli portofino. I really liked it but I didnt thi k it had a lot of staying power for me.
My current fave is the eau de soliel blanc.
Ive the VB portofino on today. I think, if I smelled it on my husband, it would be gorgeous as a men's scent.
Completely agree. I like 4711 but it lasts about an hour tops. It is so cheap though I dont mind it as a refreshing spray in the hotter months. I know a lot of people really dislike the scent though.
SOTD Miu Miu Fleur De Lait. I’m still searching for my coconut sunscreen fragrance and as much as I love this I don’t get much coconut!
Have you tried Soleil Blanc, Vanilla Vibes, Bronze Goddess and Beach? I hear great things about the Vacation fragrance too but I am banning myself from buying any more this year.
Wearing Penhaligon’s Savoy Steam. Hate that it’s been discontinued, it’s such a lovely perfume.
Maison Margiela Beach Walk is a fab salty option too, I never get coconut off it mind. I get stronger coconut off Moonlight in Heaven.
I think the same about VB Portofino, like it on myself, LOVE it on himself!
Wearing gulf orchid rice milk. It has a beautiful savory rice nice at the start that reminds me of leau papier. But the dry down is more sweet and cosy like a slightly fruity creamy rice pudding. Just lovely.

I wore their “the favourite” yesterday. It was in a discovery set I have. Not the kind of fragrance I would go for normally, but I really liked it.
I love all three of these! Soleil Blanc and Neroli Portofino were my scents of last Summer, and I’ve recently tried VB Portofino. I quite like a unisex fragrance, and I agree VB Portofino leans more masculine. I received a sample when purchasing VB eyeliners, but I am unsure whether to buy the full size bottle, as I don’t think it’s quite worth the price compared to the Tom Ford fragrances
I have a travel of soleil Blanc, I get no coconut but I will revisit! Didn’t like vanilla vibes and need to try bronze goddess again as not tried it for years and there are new flankers out now! Is beach beach walk? Didn’t like that either! Interested in the vacation, have had a quick google and it sounds like what I’m looking for but I don’t think it’s available in the uk?

Sorry Beach is Bobbi Brown: Beach. It is hard to get but I picked up a bottle on vinted recently. That to me is the closest smelling coconut/sunscreen oil smell I have ever found.
Sometimes free people and anthropologie sellt it. Just googling and ubuy stocks it and Small Aromas sell samples of it.
I will definitely have to try this as I need a summer fragrance and it sounds lush x
Longevity isnt great unfortunately.
Oh that’s a shame. I haven’t found a salty one that is good longevity unfortunately. I like a good powerhouse perfume x
