I have to say though, I'm pretty fed up of every autumn/winter perfume having vanilla notes
I wear a lot of vanilla notes and deal with a lot of Americans - I'm tit sick of being told "you smell like sUgAr cOoKiEs!"I'd try it!

Coco by Chanel the foaming shower wash is discontinued! I can order some from Europe, but has anyone found a good dupe or similar. I can find loads of mademoiselle but not Coco

Mostly M&S ones (especially the no longer available Discover Sunset which I love) but also La Vie Est Belle and Black Opium get me the sugar cookie comments - any perfume with vanilla in smells predominantly vanillaey on me for some reason. Oh Britney's Midnight Fantasy too.

Yes agree, I shelled out £60 and thought it sounded wonderful, to be honest it's weak and nothing special, I should have bought the samples before ordering
Is anyone selling on their buying mistakes on eBay? Are things going? Or not? I don’t want to put on vinted as I didn’t even manage to sell a room spray on there without getting it removed
I've sold a few over the years that I grew tired of on ebay. Obviously the rarer or discontinued ones will go for good prices, but I've not had difficulty in selling popular or contemporary fragrances as long as they're in good condition, well priced and honestly described. I think sometimes the market waxes and wanes, but before the festive period is usually a good time to go for it. The last time I sold was a few years ago, so things may have changed? But I'd definitely do it again. Better some cash back rather than a regretful purchase gathering dust.

I have just bought that one because it doesn’t smell of vanilla.

Resale sites have got so strict, perfume basically has to be wrapped new in the original box for it to be allowed.
It's been a while but Depop was the least strict for allowing opened or half used perfume last I checked.
You can probably get away with it on Ebay if you still have the box and list it as new other or something like that.
Otherwise, Facebook groups and marketplace!
Today’s try out was Under the Lemon Trees; reminded me of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea with a more lime smell to it.
