I went back and had a look, her name is @iamnoelle_ig , she has a few of those kind of how many sprays should you wear videos
I know this woman from TikTok from the don’t buy this series .. you must be able to smell her from 100 paces if she sprays that much perfume every time .

Please report back with your thoughts! I might order one too…
Reporting back with my Palatine thoughts…

sooo being a PDM fan I am rather disappointed and am wondering why PDM has released this now as it is quite floral and fresh.

When I sprayed the perfume it started off as sweet and floral - really very delicate and feminine. Then settled into a lovely floral . Disappointed in terms of longevity as it faded really quickly and also poor in terms of projection. So while I like it it is not worth the price point ( and genuinely baffled as to why it’s been released during autumn/ winter as it’s too delicate for a winter perfume).

Ps - how pretty is the bottle though 🙁

I blind bought Kayali Vanilla 48 and there were zero regrets personally! Very sweet but not overwhelming either

Had a spritz of the new Dolce & Gabbana Devotion Intense EDP today. Subtle it is not 😅 but I love it for Autumn/Winter. It reminds me a bit of Marc Jacobs Decadence which I never pulled the trigger on, but it's much less green and the hazelnut note is a great point of difference for me. It's very warm and vanilla-ey which I love.
This could be the one to splurge my Boots points on I think.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here about the two new Glossier You perfumes launching Oct 3rd...would love to try

The thing that makes me lol a bit about the Glossier launch is that all the beauty journos/influencers have been given the list of notes and then writing or producing their copy and flinging around terms like "plum butter" like the term is common knowledge or as if any of us are meant to know wtf that actually means :ROFLMAO:🥴

Am quite interested in the reviews when thry come out, though. Definitely interested in trying, even if only to get to the bottom of the plum butter mystery!

I purchased Jazz Club, Maison Margiela, from Duty Free the other day and I don’t like it. 😭 I feel like it has no staying power at all. It’s so faint even after first sprays. It was a bit of an impulse buy as the fragrance I planned to get (Oud Immortal, Byredo) was out of stock.

In my experience Byredo scents have very poor staying power too.

i would agree with the exception of rose noir which I get a decent amount of longevity from. Not all day but def a good few hours wear.

Oh nah I hate this one, smells like old furniture to me. I find Maison margiela mostly have terrible staying power. Byredo too.

There’s one that lasts ages but I can’t think of the name. It’s one that smells just like another perfume though so not at all worth the money

Seven Veils and Black Saffron lasted a looong time on me, but definitely agree Byredo's new output has been pretty poor longevity wise. Plus, echoing the margiela opinions. Margiela imo work better (and more potently) as home fragrance rather than personal fragrance, too.

Margiela are so overpriced given the last three and a half seconds!
what are everyone’s favourite long lasters?!
I think ysl and Guerlain (not the aqua allegorias) tend to hang in there in general.

Ysl libre lasts a long time so agree. Also Lancome La nuit tresor.
From more expensive ones I like ex nihilo lust in paradise, I can still smell it on my clothes and hair the day after. A lot of the amouage ones are eternal too but expensive.

And of course Baccarat rouge lasts for ages.

Yes going to get the travel sprays of both I think and try them out, do love the original but never reach for it much.

Recent samples from Amouage - Love Delight and Guidance . Both beasts for longevity.

Other goodies - initio parfum - Atomic Rose, MFK - BR540 , Ella K - Musk K ( pumped up version of Glossier -You), Penhaligons - Halfeti

Recent discovery - BDK - Tabac Rose ( took me by surprise as I love Gris Charnel but longevity isn’t the best on me).

affordable numbers - lots of Zara frags are good performers - Lost Cherry, Rose Gourmand , Hipster Oud and Perpetual Oud all give me a good days wear. I also get a good wear out of Miss Dior as well.

I am trying another sample today from small aromas (1ML again) .

I have on Parfum De Marly Safanad , and its reminding me of a spicy orange. Its nice but i don't think id reach for it enough to warrant buying a bigger bottle (or even another sample - once i have used it up then its gone).

Had a mini 'scent haul' yesterday in London..
Ouai St Barts hair and body mist
Zara Bohemian oud
Zara Red temptation
All reasonably priced and I've not had a chance to try them out properly as yet but I am looking forward to having a 'proper sniff'
I think the Bohemian oud is quite strong but will be a good 'winter' scent . The St Barts is being saved for a my Goa holiday in January
