Tell you what though - and this may have been obvious to everyone but me - the dark purple juice is a bugger on light coloured clothes. I decided to have a quick spray just as I was leaving the house last week. Brand new white t shirt. Looked down at myself an hour or so later to see tiny splotches all over me. Washed out, thankfully.
Yeah, I know I should spray before getting dressed, but my life usually doesn’t work out like that

I had my Killian Angel Share 'dupes' (Kismet Angel and Lattafa Khamrah)hidden in a drawer over the summer and finally it was cold enough today to bring the beauties out.
Layering them with Fenty Warm cinnamon body butter and sol de janeiro 71. I don't find them overly similar, apparently Kismet is more like the Angel Share. Khamrah is like I've had a bath in baileys cinnamon apple pie filling.

I loved ‘Skinscent for Her’ by New West in my 20s. Obscure and I’m sure discontinued. Smelled like melon!

Rose Gourmand is a beast and has fantastic performance for the price. I really like it and yet I’ve never received a single compliment when wearing it, so not sure it’s popular with other people?

I just bought Lattafa Khamrah and I’m a bit disappointed. I love the smell, but I was expecting much better longevity and projection based on reviews I’ve read. Not sure if my skin just eats up perfume! I’m hoping it will get better if I let it macerate.

Having had the bank claw back from an app that charged me after cancellation and my birthday coming up, I treated myself to Roos and Roos Mia Mentha.
it came and smelled slightly weird but soon has gone back to what I expected and what I put on my wrist yesterday afternoon is still there - for a perfume without a huge projection it’s certainly tenacious! I was thinking I’d been really frivolous and wasted my money but it’s good quality thank goodness.

I spray 2 or 3 and im pushing my luck I think. I think after 4 I'd be like a living air wick plug in.

I saw a reel on IG from a perfume influencer on how many seconds sprays she recommends for various perfumes. I was aghast at how many sprays she recommends, she said 40 for Billie Eilish, 25 for Good Girl, can’t remember the rest. No matter what I wear it’s one to two sprays max
That influencer must be walking around with a permanent headache! Either that or her nose has been damaged somehow. Good grief. 40 sprays of anything, let alone a frag as vanilla-woody centric as all of Billie Eilishs line, is too too much and 25 sprays of Good Girl (!!!!) must surely be antisocial behaviour or something. I pity the people who have to work or interact with her.
That's madness.
My sense of smell still hasn't fully recovered after having covid 6 or 8 weeks ago and I'd still find more than 3 or 4 sprays of most scents enough/too much.
Is that just an instahun ensuring she gets lots of comments (engagement is everything) by making outlandish claims?
Who was the influencer please? I follow Jus De Rose and Demi Rawling. Both these recommend 3-4 sprays for a heavier scent ( and there are a couple I do no more than 2 as would be way too much and headache inducing ) and about 5-6 for a lighter scent.

Isn't 40 sprays like 3ml or more? I can literally buy a 1ml sample and use it multiple times, that's crazy.

I used to only wear two sprays max of anything, but I think perfume in general has gotten weaker. Now I sometimes wear 3-4 on skin, but drench myself (well my clothes) if it’s only cologne.
