I ran the iron over a hoody I hadn't worn since Spring this morning and the fabulous scent of vanilla hit me - I think it must have been a Lolita Lempicka 30ml I picked up on holiday last year.
For anyone still craving the "you smell like sugar cookies" comments, I believe it was called Lolitaland.

I went to the hairdressers yesterday and they have a row of Jo Malone hand lotions on the counter, so I tried the Pomegranate Noir one. I washed my hands about 6 times in the coming hours and still couldn't get rid of the smell which by this stage was making me feel really queasy. It's a very heavy scent to say the least.

Why does perfume that you don't like hang round like a bad smell and ones you love go pouff and evaporate

My birthday is coming up soon and I may have blindly bought Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc given that it's supposed to be a summer scent. Gotta say I'm not overly impressed with it. It's nice. Maybe I need to give it time? I definitely will use it up because I never usually waste anything but I can't see it being purchased again.

I also bought Soleil Neige shimmering body oil because I've a wedding coming up and really wanted to look great and treat myself.

OMG this scent is divine! Think I will be purchasing a small bottle of the Soleil Neige edp at some point this year if the oil is anything to go by does anyone else have Soleil Blanc or Soleil Neige?

I used to love Stella until I was wearing it one day and my lovely husband asked if I'd started smoking - I said why? and he said that I smelled of fag ash. Charming. Never wore it again.

Lol once I wore baccarat rouge 540 on a date with my husband and he asked what perfume I was wearing, because “it smells cheap”

The new Dolce & Gabanna Devotion Intense is incredibly long lasting. I can still smell it after a shower. Sadly I don’t like it. Why is it the ones you dislike last for days on end and the ones you love disappear in the blink of an eye

Just ordered CK euphoria for a very bargain price of £35 for 100ml. Such a throwback, it used to be my favourite perfume, I know it's not so popular now but I smelled it in a shop today and I still like it can't go wrong with that price haha

both smelled nice - the discover sunset reminds me of Kayali ( the pistachio gelato one)

Given that we're only in May, so far this year I've splurged on Tom Ford (disappointing) and Diptique. Only yesterday I've just and ordered Delina Exclusif, a Jo Malone travel spray and more bloody Sol de Janerio body spray because 'sure why not it's only a few extra quid here or there...'

I definitely have a problem.

Any Gucci Flora fans?
I just got Gorgeous Gardenia (the pink bottle) at the weekend and I absolutely adore it. It smells a bit like pineapples to me, definitely fresh and tropical and I love the sweetness of the base notes.
I’m more used to cheaper fragrances so it is a bit of a luxury treat for me, it lasts a lot longer than what I’m used to!
10/10 from me!

My Mum drowns herself in Alien, and it's not my cup of tea at all. So I bought her a bottle of Chanel Mademoiselle for Christmas and thankfully she's wearing that now. Said she's never had so many "oooh, what are you wearing, you smell lovely" compliments in her life

So today I did a little bit of a test and tried some layering…. I started off with Brazilian bum bum cream, then sprayed some Ralph Lauren euphoria eau de parfum, let that dry down and then sprayed Ariana Grande cloud on my neck and chest.
Wow…. I have no idea how or why but this combo is divine and I’m in heaven!

Tomorrow I’m trying my favourite rituals body’s cream (ritual of Sakura rice milk and cherry blossom) with Caroline herrara good girl perfume and I want something a little bit almondy on my neck. I’m thinking Dior hypnotic poison but it might be wayyy to much Will let you all know how it goes

I bought a 10ml of this from Boots to see what it's like and OMG this perfume is soooo nice and YUMMY! I only sprayed it once on me and pulled my sleeve back down and I can still smell the yummy-ness

Anyone else think the name More Sex is cringe?

The whole range of names (especially More Sex) could have all had a bit of a rethink tbh. They sound like a freebie lipgloss or nail polish or something you'd get back in the day when you bought Cosmopolitan magazine. The bottles are also a bit , especially at the price point.

My husband was stumped for a christmas present for me, I only wanted one thing, which he got. He then saw a Valentino perfume set called "Born in Roma" and got it for me, as I'm obsessed with an Italian band from Rome and he did good! The main perfume smells so lovely, a bit Vanilla-y but also a bit spicy, then there's a "coral" version, which is lighter and fruitier and a "yellow" version which is very citrussy and summery. The main one I can see being a new favourite, I get so many compliments on it when I wear it.

I can’t do a pic right now as it’s in boxes all over the place but I have a lot, lot more. It’s actually shameful. After the house is decluttered the perfume comes next!

Perfume reviews that no one asked for :-

Bronze Goddess nuit - tried this in a scent addict subscription and loved it so much I bought a 50ml bottle . This to me is a beachy coconut tropical dreamy perfume. A solid 9/10 . Absolutely love it .

Rouge Malachite - Armani Prive. Have had this on a want list for some time. Selfridges have recently had a sale and spotted this was in the sales. It is usually £290 for 100ml and in the sales it was £185 for 100ml. Needless to say I ran around with glee at my bargain. The frag itself is gorgeous - it’s a creamy white floral. A solid 10/10 for dreaminess.

Ella K - Musc K . A peppery musk powdery perfume. It’s basically a better version of Glossier You . It’s on a buy list. Really lovely perfume. A solid 9/10 .

Room 1015 - Sonic Flower. - also very similar to glossier you . This is more florals forward. Very pretty and similar to Ella K. It is a great perfume. Another 9/10

Room 1015 - Cherry Punk. Had such high hopes for this but I really disliked it. Started off with a lovely cherry note but the dry down was very astringent / medicinal on me. It was quite unpleasant . Score of 3/10

Atelier De Ors - Blue Madeline. I don’t what to say about this as it lasted about 45 mins before it completely disappeared. Very poor . Score of 1/10.

Born 2 stand out - indecent cherry. Another disappointment . Not as awful Cherry Punk but I didn’t rate it. Started off nice with a nice cherry note but then the dry down smelt off on me. Score of 4/10

Amouage - Love Delight. Absolutely love this . It is a spicy sort of floral. Starts off very floral but then the tonka/ rum ( like a boozy note) comes out. OMG it is divine . I love it. Really love it. Want a bottle but at £330 . This is also an absolute powerhouse - could still smell this the day after spraying. A 10/10 in every way.

Aerin - Hibiscus Palm. Also had high hopes for this but despite it being lovely and tropical the longevity is piss poor. Disappeared on me within 90 mins. The bronze goddess nuit ( although nuit is more coconutty) has similar notes to this perfume but is a better performer and also less money. It’s not worth the price . A disappointing 5/10 ( the 5 is because it really does smell lovely).
