It’s crazy how fragrance is so different on each person! I can literally spray like 10 sprays of Khamrah and smell nothing an hour later!

As a cheap every day long lasting perfume I love Far & Away by Avon! £15 on Amazon, really sticks around and masks any smells that might be on you - I make myself sound dirty! I’m not going to go through addict quickly that’s for sure. I want to try elixir de merveilles as I believe that’s supposed to smell similar to VS.

Side note I really hate how most shops don’t give those little samples anymore. I need to wear a scent a day or two to decide on it not sprayed onto a piece of paper. Used to be more common many years ago 🥲

Online is better for samples with boots. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten them in store. Department stores are usually the best place for a few samples even if you don’t buy they’re usually happy to let you have samples of things you like and might buy in the future

I had one of the paintbrushes and it was lovely but sadly the fragrance didn’t last

Hi! I am not really a huge perfume user but I really want to start wearing it more often. I have NO idea where to start (just get overwhelmed when I’m in the shops, also I prefer to shop online which I realise is not ideal for buying perfume lol). Can anyone recommend a place to start? Eg a fragrance tester box or something similar?

I quite like Santal 33 and would prefer something which is unisex - floral/woody rather than spicy. I also bought Malin + Goetz dark rum after loving the shower gel but find it a bit too strong and spicy if that makes sense?
