Thank you, I’ve ordered on the next site before but I can’t smell any of the new scents so I only repurchase what I’ve already smelled and like and they are very expensive, you’re right!

what are some good wedding scents? So far I love these:
• Delina exclusif (I feel like a spokesperson for PDM the amount I’ve talked about this )
• Louis Vuitton - Les sables roses
• Lancôme - oud bouquet
• Jo malone - peony & blush suede

Rhubarb Quest Update:
I've subscribed to Scentbox and they send you a lovely ample-sized sample in one of those metal travel atomisers. I've chosen all the scents I'm going to try for the next year! Next month I'm getting Marc Jacobs Perfect.

In non-Rhubarb Quest activity, I've also succumbed to an IG ad and done the fragrance profile on Penhaliogon's website, samples of Empressa and Heartless Helen are on the way.

Well Marc Jacobs Perfect is ok, nice enough, wouldn't be upset to receive it as a gift BUT I wouldn't buy it for myself. Also doesn't seem to last very well on me.

Parfums de Marly are now available from Scentbox (although you have to pay a bit extra to get in the "Platinum" tier) so I'm trying all the ones I want and will then go back to the cheaper tier. So far although I like Delina I probably wouldn't buy a full-size even if I could afford it. I also got Oriana, really don't like it on a paper tester. Can't bring myself to spray it on my skin as I think I'll hate it! Next month I'm getting Cassili so I'm hoping that is more to my nose.

My Penhaligons samples arrived - Heartless Helen not to my taste at all, am giving it away. Empressa is gorgeous though. Would like to buy a full-size bottle in the future. I heard it described as similar to a Chanel perfume but can't remember which one.

Anyone tried Laura mercier almond and coconut. I got a fab perfume which has replaced my coco madamoseille in america in Epcot in Norway . Geirr needs Norsk son

Le labo santal 33. Makes me feel festive as I first smelt it when I got it in a Liberty advent calendar in 2016!
I’ve got a big bottle now and I’ve had it for that long, the scent just doesn’t seem to last very long. My own fault for having too many different opened bottles on the go

Yeah it's tempting to buy big bottles as on the face of it they're much bigger value but not really if you have lots of bigger ones. I might start buying more 30ml ones for that reason.

Santal 33 is a summer scent for me haha

I like PDM a lot as well and lately Kilian as well. I have three of his perfumes - rolling in love , moonlight in heaven and love don’t be shy.

I haven’t smelled the sweet peony perfume from
Montale - is it nice? I will keep an eye out for it when I next visit London so I can have a smell

Kilian love don’t be shy is very very similar to PDM Oriana. I bought Oriana and it dries down incredibly sweet, heavy marshmallow notes

I love sweet peony but feel like it doesn’t last that long. Not quite as bad as Jo malone perfumes but not exactly PDM level. Do kilian perfumes last long? I don’t have any yet

bought a bottle of my favourite scent, Estée Lauder bronze goddess turns out it’s nothing like the original I had no idea there were two different ones. Apparently the “skin scent” smells more like the og bronze goddess ?? I purchased the EDP which I what I used to buy and it’s a completely different scent. I’m absolutely gutted. Way to make it confusing for customers

Could you sell it on maybe? Gutted for you tbh. I was given a bottle of La Vie est Belle one Christmas,
amazing gift but it was a special edition, quite coconutty and it gave me migraines. Gave it to charity shop in the end.

If not what are the best Zara perfumes? I really want to try some more

This is a great dupe for BR 540 and I have two sealed bottles I’m selling because I’m personally over the scent. Message me if you want one! They also do an Energetically New York which is sort of similar to Santal 33.

Any tips for finding a wedding perfume? I am not really a perfume person, I’ve always got one on the go but they’re usually fairly basic. Marc Jacobs daisy is my current one… no idea where to even start!

I love BR540 and got is part of my perfume subscription, but it just doesn't last on me at all! Definitely worth trying before buying as I'd hate to have spent hundreds on it and it not last. Cloud lasts hours on me in comparrison.

I just ordered the Kayali pistachio perfume too, the reviews seem to be a bit hit or miss but I loved the Laura Mercier one so I’m hoping it’s along the same vibe.

What did this one turn out to be like? I miss the LM pistachio range so much

As I say, I’ve not tried them on my skin yet. They’re really lovely and I’ll defo use up the samples but I don’t know if I’d buy the full sized bottles when they’re pretty much dupes of other perfumes I already have?

I’ve always like the Mademoiselle Chanel perfume. It’s the only one I can stand because most perfumes smell like soap to me except for Arizona (Proenza) which has been discontinued and a few Replica ones.

I’ve been tempted to buy it but it’s too mainstream. Pretty much every woman out there wears it and I’m not sure I want to smell like everyone.
