thinking of asking for some dupes for xmas - chanel chance and marc jacobs decadence. the only site i can find them both on is blossom perfumery so thought i'd ask here if anyone's used them before? they also have a 3 for 2 offer on so need to find a third scent to try.

also getting my mum glossier you again for xmas but trying to decide if she'd prefer 2x50mls for handbag convenience or if to just go for the 100ml. their black friday sale is always decent too.

I got a sample of the Aerin Amber Musk last week, if that’s the one you mean? I love it. It’s very soft and warm, and I adore the musk coming through. But, it doesn’t have any staying power, at least not on me. I’d be interested to hear if anyone else thinks the same? For that reason I wouldn’t buy the full size, although if there’s a 20% offer or something on the 10ml purse spray at some point I think I would consider that.

Same with me after half an hour the smell has gone so I wont be repurchasing that.

This was one of my absolute favourites as a teenager and I've been wearing it on and off since. I remember wearing it into work a few years back and getting genuine gushing compliments. You've inspired me to spray some on again and OMG it really is gorgeous. I do think it has been reformulated and the bottle is not as nice as the 90s one but it's still great and probably one of the few 90s ones I could still wear. I also loved Tommy Girl but couldn't wear that one now

I get so many compliments on it too. I have some really high end scents but nothing gets compliments like Cerrutti.

Any tips for finding a wedding perfume? I am not really a perfume person, I’ve always got one on the go but they’re usually fairly basic. Marc Jacobs daisy is my current one… no idea where to even start!

How about going to a perfume counter and sampling some. You could tell the assistant what kind of vibes your wedding will be, what will compliment your flowers etc?

Haha maybe . I'm no expert but sometimes perfumes smell different on different people. I have a friend who likes Armani Diamonds and it smells nice on her but on me it smells synthetic and cloying

Does anyone have any recommendations for every day perfumes that are inexpensive and long lasting? I’ve noticed I mostly sludge on expensive fragrances and I feel bad using them every day or they no longer feel special when I’m using them just to go to Tesco lol

I keep being really tempted by these for like day/handbag perfumes. Do they last alright?

I really like the scents of the perfumes I have from this company. I don't have the original perfumes so I can't compare with how authentic they are but they smell good, not synthetic. Their staying power is decent. I can still smell the scent after a few hours on my clothes. The prices are relatively low so I think they are worth buying as pleasant pick-you-ups.

I bought it and rather like it.

i have red temptation and have been asked by strangers are you wearing Baccarat Rouge.
Golden decadence by Zara smells very like ysl libre intense and has good longevity for the price.
Gas anyone tried the new Red temptation winter yet?

Burberry Her is very artificial strawberry with a sharp muskiness. Personally I like it but wouldn't wear it all the time

I got it as well. It is very strange: it smells beautiful, but I somehow feel like it doesn't suit me. I can see that it is a gorgeous perfume, quite sexy, but it's not "me".
Not sure if I should keep my bottle or if I should sell it.
