That plus Autism is the least of her problems. That would break my heart seeing my daughter like that, I don’t care what it took I would get a certified trainer ( or whomever) to work on that! By the time she’s 20 she’ll be an old lady! I don’t know guys but with all the “trauma” to her brain that she causes from rocking,etc,not getting adequate testing we all get as we get older ( I still swear not getting a pelvic exam is not good,doesn’t matter that she’s not having sex) she’s not going to live a long life, it’s really so sadIt’s getting worse. Her neck and back is painful to look at in that pic. I would think physical therapy would be a priority for her.. and the violent rocking.. there is nothing to protect her neck and I can't even imagine how her spine is. 100% agree with your 2nd paragraphI don't have as much against Summer as some people here - which is cool - differing opinions are fine. To me I just see a young girl who tried to spread her wings in New York and just realized she wasn't cut out for it. I know a lot of people who had the same experience with NYC. I'm guessing she didn't want to move back home, and A&P had been pushing her hard to move in with them. She was offered not just free rent but the chance to make some money in a very comfortable home job environment. At 21, I'd have taken that deal. She's gonna make it through college with way less debt just on the rent saving alone. Plus she's studying to be an ABA therapist eventually, right? Just in the undergrad portion now. But saying she has live in experience with an autistic teenager will probably look impressive to grad school teachers/etc. Basically - I think on paper this had nothing but positives for Summer.
As far as A&P's motives - that's where I get aggravated. It doesn't at all seem coincidence to me that they wanted Summer in before Isaiah left. I think she's the replacement older sibling. Someone that, when the world isn't so weird and normal life resumes, they can dump Abbie on for their "date nights" or call it respite without having to pay her or use their paid respite hours. I don't think she was ever brought there to be anything but surrogate oldest child to be taken advantage of in that way, and then they realized they could pawn some of the grunt work of their professional day to day off on her as well. Now they have her packing envelopes and sending emails too and Priscilla has more time to slap cheap ass clown makeup on her face during livestreams - oh, sorry, I mean, work on her business.

He probably still feels that saying thank you is unnecessary or pointless in truth but now is just a little more conscious of how it appears or how it comes off so he makes a point of getting Abbie to say thank you.

I know they can’t wait to get “all the [App-State] things,” but they need to wake up & realize those days are over.
Exactly! A lot of our students are being told to drop the bigger colleges and universities, enroll in your local community college and do their online classes for these next 2 years to get your under-graduate done and then transfer back to a bigger college or university.. It will save a ton of money and most colleges and universities may not either be able to open their dorms or may have to close them again come winter... They state to only go, if you have a full-ride scholarship...
I know App State accepts transfers from all major colleges throughout the country..
Personally, I would love to see Isaiah move off and get that freedom but economically, it would make sense for him to enroll locally for the next two years... He could even move out with some of his friend into an apartment, to get space and quietness...

Surgery would not be a very good option for Abbie she would definitely have to live with it if it came down to it. Any type of spinal surgery is hard but for someone that doesn’t understand they can’t thrash and needs to limit their movements after they would never be considered a candidate.
PT she’s too lazy. And not sure if her skills are inline with what would be required.
Her parents definitely need pay more attention to her body in the present because it’s going to affect her future.

Agreed about looking at the big picture. My brother had braces twice to fix an issue braces won't fix. In fairness, these were two different dentists in two different places so for all I know my Mom probably didn't say he'd already had orthodontic work. His teeth aren't great, but they aren't that bad either. Turns out the issue is that his tongue is too far forward in his mouth and there really isn't a feasible way to fix that.Exactly!
Y’all do have to realize, just because surgery can be done to correct issues, doesn’t mean it will be done... Same thing with her teeth and orthodontics..

When you take your child to the doctor, specialist, dentist, etc., they don’t just look to see what is wrong and fix it. They have to look at the overall being of the child, current health, mental abilities, etc, If they feel that with a treatment or surgery, that follow up won’t be able to happen or that this is something she couldn’t control and will go on to undo the surgery, they will not recommend having the treatment or surgery.... Even if a parent pushes it, a doctor or surgeon can just say no....

My youngest child has a severe overbite and horrible teeth alignment. He needs spacers and eventually braces. The problem, he cannot even lay down to let the dentist work on him. He has had horrible issues at dentist offices and even bite a dentist before. We have been working for years, at a new office, to overcome his younger years of horrible treatment but he still gets scared and if we get a new dental hygienist, it is like a back track.. The dentist wants to send him for braces but he isn’t ready and we don’t know if he will ever be ready... It happens and is something we have had to accept...
Also, Abbie feels pain different (so does my youngest) and unless she is showing severe pain, they aren’t going to jump and do anything either...
