Agreed. Involving her in the cooking has to be so they have more content, otherwise makes no sense. 1) I wouldn’t eat anything she would have her hands in 2) She is getting nothing from it, she cannot retain what she learns and 3) why would you tempt her when you know she shoves any food she can get her hands on in her mouth. Makes no sense.

Watching her steal and smash that peanut butter just makes me SAD. I've said before that I am an autism specialist for my county school system and it causes me PAIN to see this and to hear them LAUGH. I know how hard her teachers and therapists have worked but to no avail!

I have gained a lot of weight since I had to finish work due to illness. I am in bed most of the time. I need to start trying to get rid of the weight but after seeing those pics, I’d rather have my rolls.

I am sorry but after that peanut butter fiasco that child should not be allowed anywhere near the kitchen until she realises that she is not going to be near ANY food apart from that she is given and then only in the dining room. She has to be treated like a naughty toddler. It was disgusting and severe IDD or not she has to learn. Harsh maybe but essential. To me this was the final straw.
